The hotel has its own huge territory, at the exit there are a large number of inexpensive cafes and souvenir shops, and opposite there is a large entertainment quarter Mimosa. Everything would be fine, but it's all located on a busy highway. The worst thing there is a pedestrian crossing over the highway! Every week a man is knocked to death at this crossing. I am not kidding! This crossing is a branch of the devil. Imagine that in Moscow a zebra crossing would be allowed through the Moscow Ring Road, but without traffic lights and in general any identification marks. I hated this crossing every time we drove this track. Here you are driving yourself calmly for 100 km in a dense stream, and then the whole stream suddenly begins to slow down, as in an accident: and it was pedestrians ahead without warning.
I ask you: Walk 200 meters - there is an overhead passage there! The pedestrian crossing near Ambmador is the most dangerous place in Pattaya.

If the chain turns out to be strong, it can severely damage the neck.
Most often, this situation occurs with tourists, because they carry large sums of money with them. Losing money in this case is just a frustration, but many carry passports in their purses, which is a big mistake.
Attacks - Motorbike Bastards
As I already wrote in the post about ““, now a generation of children has grown up in Pattaya who were born from whores. Sorry, but there is no other way to say it. Because these are gangs of juvenile bastards without morality and fear, but with a desire to take other people's money.
These are not cowardly thieves who grab a bag and leave, they are real bandits. They also hunt down their prey, but if they fail to snatch the bag, they do not run away, but stop and attack. Sometimes with a knife, sometimes stones are thrown at the head. But more often they dump the victim from the motorbike (when the victim is driving), i.e. they just catch up and knock the bike down with a kick, and while the victim wakes up, they ransack their pockets.
Teenagers of 14-18 years old also trade in this way, they are still afraid to attack men or couples. But attacks on single women at the wheel of a bike happen once a month.
Theft
There is a lot of stealing in Thailand! They steal bikes, in hotels, things on the beach, rob apartments and houses! Every year similar topics appear on the forums! In Pattaya, helmets are most often stolen from shopping centers, when the owners simply leave them on the seat and do not fasten them, bikes are stolen there (It takes no more than 40 seconds to steal any bike). The same applies to houses in Thai villages - they are raided regularly, even with cameras and guards. cameras most often do not work, and there is an unguarded loophole in the village.
Choose condos with a pass-through card system, and houses in well-guarded villages. Otherwise, keep your money in a safe, and jewelry in safe deposit boxes in the bank. If you go to the island of Ko Lan, then there are 90% that you will be scouted like that. there are no police on the beaches and no one really can help you.
There are times when people still drag bike owners to the police, but the outcome there is not clear and very much depends on the policeman. They can make you pay, or they can send the owner of the motorbike. Remember that no matter how menacingly the owners of the scooters wave their fists, they will not attack you (the main thing is not to be rude to them), because the police know everything about their divorces and if they touch a tourist, their shop will instantly close. Therefore, option 3: go to the police and hopes for luck, or pay these extortionists, or politely send everyone and go home (they will not lag behind until the ship to Pattaya).
And the best thing in Pattaya is not to take a jet ski at all!
Cheating with bank cards (interesting case)

Therefore, katoi very often attack tourists. These are robberies and banal fights.
