Idiomes in the rebuses in English. Rebus english words

Students, as a rule, refer to the memorization of vocabulary as a boring, monotonous, labor-intensive occupation. It encourages creatively working teachers to resort to non-traditional techniques. One of them is the use of rebs at the fixation stage of previously studied lexical units. Remus is called image of any word or suggestion (coding words, phrases) with a combination of drawings (pictures), letters, numbers, signs.

Usually, nouns are encrypted in the rebots in the confusion, but you can include the words of any part of speech - numeral, verbs, adjectives, pronouns, adverbs, prepositions (see examples in the application).

The most common principles for coding words can be allocated as follows:

1. Word + word (object + subject): Basket + Ball, Arm + Chair, Bed + Room, Book + Shelf.

2. Item + part of the word or part of the word + item: T + HAT = THAT, O + PEN = OPEN, Y + EAR = YEAR.

3. From the name of the depicted subject, letters are excluded using a semicolon - if the comma stands to the left of the drawing, then in the Word it is necessary to exclude the first letter (or several letters, if 2-3 commas), if on the right of the figure - then the last (AI )), Or other letters are added instead of the crossed out: sheep '' = she, 'Cup = Up,' HOUSE '' + T = Out, Y + 'Car + D = Yard, W +' Nine '+ Ten' + R = Winter.

4. Letters (lettering, items) depict one on the other (above it, under it), one in the other, next to each other (one letter "leaning" to another or they, as it were for hands), any letter "It goes" towards another (or other), then when reading, respectively, prepositions 'on', 'under', 'Up', 'In', 'At', 'WITH', 'To': E are added. g. k-in-d = kind, m-on-day = monday, to-W-n = Town, SK-AT-E = SKATE, AM-ON-G = among, S-Up-per = Supper.

Sometimes students are trying to make their own rebuses (see Appendix). Quantitative analysis shows that the largest group (63) presented the largest group (63), followed by verbs (20), adjectives and adjectors (16), prepositions (9), numerical (6), pronoun (6).

Reception of the use of rebs revives the work of students in the English language lesson, increases their performance and allows you to intensify the learning process, brings up the interest of students to the subject and positively affects the emotional state of schoolchildren. Salmoning ready-made rebuses and making up their own, students develop an imbellation, imagination, intuition, strengthen the memory, firmly absorbing the studied lexical material. This is one of the techniques of pedagogical skill, allowing to intensify the desire of children to learn.

Children learning English is quite boring in lessons where there are no game elements. And if there is no interest in classes, then you should not wait for good results. The teacher should be able to interest his students, whether it is a school or individual tutoring. Therefore, it is important to include all sorts of crosswords, riddles, characters, puzzles and rebuses in English for children.

One of the most common ways to captivate the child with lessons, these are rebuses (Rebus). They are superbly suitable for repetition and consolidate the previously studied material, new vocabulary, spelling rules. The essence of them is that with the help of pictures, special, previously stipulated, iconic designations, a word is encoded, and sometimes entire proposals.

The most commonly used words for encryption are nouns, standing in the form of a nominative case. But if you wish, you can make other parts of speech: verbs, adverbs, adjectives.

Noteworthy is the fact that Russian-speaking children require puzzles completely different from those used for small Englishmen. All the fact that if our rebuses are mostly built on clear rules, then in England the boundaries are somewhat blurred, the emphasis goes to a similar pronunciation of various syllables.

Below will be the English rebuses in pictures with answers. Here are the symbols:

1.F = T, this means that the letter in the picture shown is replaced with another.

For example: if the picture shows the cat and costs C = H, then instead of Cat, we will get HAT.

2. "," - one such a sign removes one letter, respectively, if it is ",", then we exclude two letters. From what kind of edge the words we remove, depends on whether the commas are at the beginning or in the end of the word.

3. Cartink with numbers 1.5 or another combination. This means that from the depicted words we take only those letters that are in the designated positions, that is, the first and fifth.

For example: Giraffe is depicted (Giraffe), and next to the picture figures 2, 6, it means that we will take only i, f for decryption.

As you can see, nothing complicated here. It is worth only a little straightened. Such tasks can be given to a child as homework, instead of boring memorization. They will especially be interested in students of primary classes.

Introduction

In the literacy learning lessons, the Russian language and in entertainment magazines is often found in words - rebuses. Rebuses are interesting and useful to solve. They develop figurative thinking, logic, help to memorize the writing of the dictionary (unverified) words of the Russian language. In English lessons also need to memorize words. I would like this lesson to make it more interesting and easier.

Purpose our work is the compilation of the rebels of the English words used in elementary school.
We have set up the following tasks:

· Learn the story of the reasons;

· Find out which parts you can make rebuses, and what rules of their compilation exist;

· Choose English words and make rebuses for them, using various elements and rules of drawing up;

· Prepare a visual allowance in the form of rebus English words for elementary school.

To carry out the tasks, we used the following research methods:

· Study of articles;

· Analysis and comparison of words;

We were able to use most of the techniques studied by us (see Appendix), however, we could not use the rule of the mutual location of the elements, as in English most of the nouns are used with articles (for example: on the table); Failed to make up and rebuffed element. All compiled rebuses, we included in the presentation of the "Buds of English Words" and made a collection in the printed version.

Conclusion

The purpose of our work was achieved: we managed to draw up the rebuses of English words, using the rules of the compilation of the rushes of Russian words.

The hypothesis was partially confirmed: most techniques we could apply in practice, but we could not apply all the techniques known to us.

Work on the preparation of rebus - no less exciting and useful lesson than their soloing

We hope that the result of our work is a collection of "British Word Rebuses" will be useful and interesting to children who are learning English.
