Gospel from Mark Table of contents to read online. Bible online. Introduction to the Gospel of Mark

Mark begins his story not from such an early time as Matthew and Luke, not from the birth of our Savior, but with John Baptism, and quickly moves to the public service of Christ. Accordingly, this chapter describes:

I. The ministry of John the Baptist, represented by the prophecy of him (Article 1-3) and his life story, Art. 4-8.

II. The baptism of Christ and the testimony of him from heaven, Art. 9-11.

III. The temptation of Christ, Art. 12, 13.

IV. His sermon, art. 14, 15, 21, 22, 38, 39.

V. Calling the students, Art. 16-20.

Vi. His prayer, st. 35

VII. Committing miracles.

2. Healing the mother-in-law Peter, which was sick with hot, art. 29-31.

3. Healing all those who came to him, Art. 32.34.

4. Cleansing lepers, art. 40-45.

Poems 1-8.. We can notice here

I. What the New Testament is the Divine Covenant, to which we remain faithful to more than any human, and the New Testament, which we prefer to all the old. This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Art. one.

1. The New Testament is the Gospel, God's Word, Fair and True; See Sep 19: 9; 21: 5; 22: 6. This is a good word worthy of all the adoption; It carries us joyful news.

2. This is the gospel of Jesus Christ, according to the Mazanny Savior, the promised and expected Messiah. The previous gospel began with the genealogies of Jesus Christ, which was only an entry into Him, the same proceeds directly to the case - the presentation of the Gospel of Christ. It is named after him not only by the fact that he is the author of him and it comes from him, but also because he is the subject of the Gospel and all of it is devoted to the testimony of him.

3. This Jesus is the Son of God. The gospel of the brand is built on this truth as on the basis and is written in order to open it; For if Jesus is not the Son of God, the faith is our vain.

II. That the new covenant refers to the Old and is consistent with him. The Gospel of Jesus Christ began, and also continued (as we will see later) exactly how it was written in the prophets (Art. 2), for it does not say anything, moreover, what the prophets and Moses talk about what it will be Acts 26:22. It was the most appropriate and strong argument for the conviction of the Jews who believed that the Old Testament prophets were sent from God, and had to testify about it, taking the fulfillment of their prophecies in their time. But it is also important for all of us, to approve our faith in Scripture both the Old and New Testaments, for the exact compliance between them shows that they both have the same divine source.

Here are quotes from two prophecies - the prophecies of Isaiah, the oldest of the prophets, and the prophecies of Malachi, the very late of them (they are separated by about three hundred years);

both of them talked about the ministry of John as the beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

1. Malachi, in the person of which we say goodbye to the Old Testament, said very clearly (Mal 3: 1) about John the Baptist, that he must introduce the New Testament. Here, I am sending the angel of mine before your face, Art. 2. Christ himself referred to this prophecy and applied it to John (MF 11:10) as the Messenger of God, sent to cook the way to Christ.

2. Isaiah, the most gospel of all the prophets, begins the evangelical part of his prophecy from instructions on the beginning of the Gospel of Christ (IP 40: 3): Gluing in the desert, Art. 3. Also, Matthew referred to this prophecy, referring it to John, MF 3: 3. By comparing them between themselves, we can see that:

(1) Christ goes among us (in its Gospel), carrying treasure grace and the scepter of power.

(2) The corruption of the world was such that it was necessary to do something in it to free the place for Christ, to remove what had provided his promotion not only an obstacle, but also resistance.

(3) sending his son to the world, God showed care, real care, which also shows when he sends him to our hearts - care about cooking his way before him. For the intentions of His grace cannot suffer defeats; Not everyone can expect consolations from this grace, but only the one who is cooked for these consolations by decorating in sin and humiliation, and is located to accept them.

(4) When curved paths are made directly (errors are corrected in judgments and curved paths of attachments), then the path for the consolations of Christ.

(5) The path of Christ, like those who follow him, is prepared in the wilderness (for this world is), just like the way Israel walked to Canaan.

(6) Messengers of crusions and intimidations, going to cook the way to Christ, are God's Messengers, God sends and recognizes them with their own, so they should be taken as such.

(7) sent to prepare the path to the Lord in such an unlimited and dark desert, which represents this world, should shine loudly, without holding it, but the torn voice is like a pipe.

III. What was the beginning of the New Testament. The gospel began with John the Baptist, for John the law and the prophets were the only divine revelation, and since his time, the glory began about the kingdom of God, bow 16:16. Peter begins with the baptism of John, Dean 1:22. The Gospel began not from the birth of Christ, for he had successfully succeeded in the wisdom and at the age, and not from the release of him to public service, but for six months before, when John began to preach the same doctrine that Christ subsequently preached. His baptism was the dawn of the gospel day, because:

1. In the way of life of John was the beginning of the spirit of the Gospel, as it was the life of great self-denial, killing the flesh, holy contempt for the world and not a conservation with him, which can truly be called the beginning of the Gospel of Christ in any soul, Article 6. John wore clothes from camel hair, not soft clothes, was not a golden clothes, but a leather belt, neglecting delicacies and delicacies, his food was acrides and wild honey.

Notice, the more we limit our body and the higher the world raising over the world, the better will be prepared for the adoption of Jesus Christ.

2. The sermon and baptism of John laid the beginning of the teachings and rites of the Gospel, were their launches.

(1) He preached the forgiveness of sins, constituting the Great Evangelical Privilege; She showed them to their need for the forgiveness of sins, without which they would die, and pointed to the possibility of gaining it.

(2) He preached the repentance necessary for the forgiveness of sins, told people about the need to update hearts and correcting the life that they should leave their sins and appeal to God, and their sins would be forgiven under these conditions. The apostles were instructed to preach all nations repentance for the forgiveness of sins, bow 24:47.

(3) He preached Christ and sent his listeners to the expectation that he would soon appear and make great things. The preaching of Christ is a pure gospel, and it was about him that John the Baptist preached, Art. 7, 8. As a true gospel minister, he preached:

About the great superiority to which Christ moved, which was so high, so great that John, although he was the greatest of born in his wives, considered himself not worthy to serve him even the smallest - leaning to unleash the belt shoe. So diligently he has the honor of Christ and others coordinates the same.

About the great strength, which Christ was clothed. He goes after me, in time, but he is stronger than me, stronger than the most powerful on earth, for he is able to baptize the Holy Spirit, he can give the Spirit of God and through him to control human spirits.

About the great promise, which Christ gives in his gospel to those who show and receive the forgiveness of sins: they will be baited in the Holy Spirit, they are cleaned by grace and strengthened with his consolation. And, finally, all those who adopted his teaching and obeyed it to establish, he baptized with water according to the Jewish custom, used when taking prosenets as a sign of their cleansing itself by repentance and corrections (required duties) and God's purification by forgiveness and consecration (promised blessings). Subsequently, baptism had to become one of the commandments of the Gospel, the Baptism of John was entry into Him.

3. The success of the preaching of John and the acquisition of his students by baptism marked the beginning of the Gospel Church. He baptized in the desert, without entering the cities, but the whole country of Judah and Jerusalemne, residents of the city and villages, were left for him, and they were baptized from him. They entered into his disciples, submitting to his discipline and as a sign of this confessing their sins; He, taking them into the disciples, the sign of this baptized them. Here was the basis of the evangelical church - from the womb before Dennica, such a dew is your birth, Ps 119: 3. Many of them in the future became followers of Christ and the preachers of his Gospel, so that this mustard grain became a tree.

Poems 9-13.. Here we have a brief overview of the Baptism of Christ and his temptation, in more detail in the MF. 3 and 4.

I. His baptism, which was the first phenomenon of his people after a long summer of obscure life in Nazareth. Oh, as a lot of hidden advantages, or lost in this world in dust contempt and not able to be recognized, or wrapped in the cover of humility and not wanting to be recognized! But sooner or later everything will open, as Christ opened.

1. See how humbly he honored god because he came to be baptized from John. So it was supposed to fulfill all the truth. So he took upon himself the likeness of a sinful flesh: although it was completely clean and was impossible, still washed, as if it was dedicated, the star was dedicated to us so that we were consecrated and baptized with him, John 17:19.

2. Look, with what mortem recognized His God when he submitted the baptism of John. About those who baptized by the baptism of John, it was said that they gave the glory to God, bow 7: 29.30.

(1) He saw the expanding heavens. So he was recognized by the Lord who came from heaven, and received a glimpse of fame and joy that preceded him and retained for him as a remuneration for his ministry. Matthew says he was rejected by heaven. Mark says he saw them expanding. Heaven is expressed in front of many to accept them, but they do not see it. Christ is not only clearly foresaw his sufferings, but also coming glory.

(2) He saw the Spirit as a pigeon, coming on him.

Notice when we feel the spirit that comes out and working on us, then we can see heaven with holes for us. God's kind work in us is a faithful proof of his favor to us and its preparations for us. Justin Martyrs says that when Christ was baptized, fire was built in Jordan, and, and, with an ancient legend, the Light of the Great ascended around that place. For the Spirit brings light and heat.

That he did not less beloved by him, due to the fact that was in such a humiliated position. "Although he is so humiliated and deprived of all fame, nevertheless, he is my beloved son."

That he loves them much more for the fact that he dedicated himself to such a glorious to merciful ministry. God favors in it as an intermediary between him and a person in all the controversial issues, he is so satisfied with them that in it favors and to us.

II. His temptation. The good spirit that came down on him led him to the Desert, Art. 12. Paul mentions that he immediately after his vocation he did not go to Jerusalem, but he went to Arabia (Gal 1:17), and leads it as proof that his teaching was from God, and not from a person. Privacy from the world is an opportunity for a more free conversation with God, and therefore it should be elected even those who are called for the greatest things. Talking about the stay of Christ in the desert, Mark notes that he was there with beasts. It was the manifestation of his father's care about him that he was guarding from confused wild beasts, gave him confidence that his father would support him and hunger. Special patronage is a pledge of timely support. It was also a hint on the inhumanity of the people of that generation, among whom he had to live - they were no better than wild beasts in the desert, even much worse. In desert:

1. Evil spirits were concerned about them. He was tempted by Satani, tempt not by some internal influences (the prince of this world has nothing in Christ, for which he could grasp), but external seduction. Privacy often gives the tempter advantages, so two is better than one. Christ was tempting, and not only in order to show us that there is no sin in temptation, but also to point out to us where to go for help when we are in temptation - to the one who, former sophisticated, has undergone In order to compare us when we are tempted.

2. Good spirits took care of him: the angels served him, that is, they provided it to what he needed, and respectfully served him. Note. The ministry of good angels is very comforting for us when we are exposed to an evil trot of evil angels. But it is much more important to have the stay of the Spirit (God) in their hearts; Having it was born from God, so the crap does not touch them and all the more could not win them.

Poems 14-22.. Here contains:

I. A general overview of how Christ preached in Galilee. John gives an overview of the sermons pronounced by him before in Judea, John. 2 and 3. Other evangelicals omit them, as they narrate, mainly about the events that took place in Galilee, because they were least known to Jerusalem.

Note:

1. When Jesus began to preach in Galilee - after John was devoted. When John completed his testimony, Jesus began his own. Forcing to silence Christ ministers will not be forced to silence Christ! If some are removed, others will be raised, perhaps stronger than those to continue the same thing.

2. That he preached - the gospel of the kingdom of God. Christ came to establish the kingdom of God among people to submit them to him and could gain salvation in it. He founded him through the preaching of his gospel and the phenomena of the force accompanying it.

Note:

(1) The Great Truths that Christ preached. It turned out time, and the kingdom of God approached. This is a reference to the promises of the Old Testament about the mercy of the Messiah and the time of his offensive. People were not enough knowledgeable in prophecies and not enough observed the sign of time to understand them. Therefore, Christ draws their attention to the fact that "the predetermined time has already approached, the glorious revelations of Divine Light, life and love are carried out and the house building begins, much more spiritual and divine than the previous one.

Note. God keeps the time: when there was time, the kingdom of God was approaching, because the vision refers to a certain time, which will exactly be respected, although they will slow down in our time.

(2) The great responsibilities arising from this. Christ gave the CM to the times of time, so that they knew what Israel should do. They recklessly expected the Messiah will be in strength and the glory of this world, so that not only to free the Jewish nation from the Roman Iga, but also to put it on all their neighbors, so they thought that with the approach of the kingdom of God, they need to prepare for war, to victory, successes and elevation in the world. But Christ tells them that in view of the approach of the kingdom, they should repent and believe in the gospel. They violated the moral law and could not escape the covenant of innocence, because both Jews and Ellina, everything under sin. Therefore, they should take advantage of the grace covenant and submit to the laws of redemption, consisting in repentance before God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. They failed to take advantage of prescribed safety funds and therefore should now resort to prescribed regenerating funds. When repentance, we must melt and leave our sins and faithfully accept forgiveness. With repentance, we must give the glory to our Creator, who was upset, and faith - the glory to our Redeemer who came to save us from our sins. It should be done in parallel: it should not be thought that the correction of life will save us without hope for righteousness and grace Christ or that the trust of Christ will save us without correcting our hearts and life. Christ joined them together, and nicknie will not think to disconnect them. They mutually help and assist each other. Repentance revives faith, and faith makes repentance by Gospel, the sincerity of the other is proved by a diligent conscientious obedience to all of God's commandments. So began the preaching of the Gospel, so it continues until now, for and now he sounds all the same call: Just, and believe, and live the life of repentance and the life of faith.

II. Behind the appearance of Christ as a teacher, the pupils should be called, Art. 16-20.

Note:

1. Christ will always have followers. If he bases school, then he appears students, if he plays his banner, then the warriors flock to it, if he preaches, listeners are going around him. He took an effective course to ensure this, because everything that the Father gave him, will definitely come to him.

2. The guns chosen by Christ for the founding of her kingdom were the weak and novel world, designed not from the great Sanhedrion or the school of rabbis, but taken from the world of sailors, near the sea - so that it was clear that the superiority of strength is entirely coming from God, but at all Not from them.

3. Although Christ does not need the help of people, he still want to use it when approving his kingdom, to handle us familiar to us, not causing fear, and that in his kingdom leaders and lords were themselves, Ier 30: 21.

4. Christ has the honor of those who, although they are insignificant in the world, but are diligent in their business and love each other. That were those who he called. He found their wages, and jointly. It is good and nice when hardworking is combined with unity. Such, the Lord Jesus blesses, the commanding: Follow me.

5. Case of servants catch people and acquire them for Christ. People in their natural state are lost, endlessly wandering in the huge ocean of this world, and are fond of its streams; They are useless. Like Leviathan in the waters, they play them and often absorb each other as sea fish. Preaching the Gospel, the ministers throw a nemid in the sea, Matt 13:47. Some are among those caught and pulled ashore, but a much larger number does not fall into the native. Fishermen consume great efforts and expose themselves the greatest dangers. The ministers also come, they need wisdom. But even if the network does not bring a catch, no matter how much they threw it, they still have to continue their business.

6. Those whom Christ calls should leave everything and follow him, and he has his grace with their hearts to it. This does not mean that we must immediately get out of the world, but that we need to be indifferent to it and leave everything incompatible with our duties towards Christ, everything that cannot be observed without harm to our souls. Mark notes about Jacob and John that they left not only their father's father (as mentioned by Matthew), but also hired workers, whom they may loved like their brothers, as they were their employees and pleasant comrades. Not only relatives, but also friends and old acquaintances we must leave for the sake of Christ. Maybe this is a hint of their feedback: they did not leave him without help, but left with employees. According to Grotius, it is mentioned as evidence that their craft was profitable for them, if it was worth to have workers on the content of workers who help in it, and that they, although their hands were very lacking, nevertheless left their craft.

III. Here is a detailed review of his sermon in Capernaum, one of the cities of Galilee; For, although John the Baptist chose the place of his preaching the desert and did well, and did a good one, however, it should not be what Christ had to do so. The inclinations and opportunities of the ministers can be very different, and at the same time they can be on the path of their duty and be useful.

Note:

1. When Christ came to Capernaum, he immediately began to work, using the first opportunity for the preaching of the Gospel. Who is aware of how great the case, the upcoming him, and as a short time, allotted for him, will not waste time for nothing.

2. Christ reverently observed the day Sabbath. Although he did not associate itself with the legends of the elders in all the subtleties of Saturday rest, nevertheless (which was much better) devoted himself to Saturday cases for which Saturday rest was installed, and abounded in these matters.

3. Saturdays, if we have the opportunity, must be connected in the assembly of believers. It is holy day and must be honored with the Holy Assembly; Such was the good old custom, Dejan 13:27; 15:21. On Saturday, Totd Odfflaaiv - Po Saturdays, that is, in every Saturday, whenever Saturday occurred, he entered the synagogue.

4. In the meetings of believers on Saturday, the days must preach the gospel and instruct everyone who willingly study the truth that in Jesus.

5. Christ was an unfortunate preacher: he preached not as the scribes who interpreted the law of Moses, to arrive by a student, like a schoolchild's lesson, but did not know him (even Paul, being Pharisee, was ignorant in law), and he did not give them actions; Their word did not come out of the heart and therefore was not with power. But Christ taught them as power having, as a knowledgeable thoughts of God and the authorized to proclaim them.

6. In the teachings of Christ, much amazing; The more we listen to him, the more we find the reasons to admire them.

Poems 23-28.. As soon as Christ began to preach, he began to work wonders to confirm his teachings; They were intended to reveal the purpose of his teaching: to defeat Satan and heal sick souls.

In these verses we have:

I. Exile by Christ Besa from the person's obsessed with the Capernamian synagogue. This case was not described by Matthew, but then it is found in Bow 4:33. In the synagogue there were a man who was obsessed with the spirit of unclean, IV Nvejuati Yukavartsh - in the spirit of the unclean, because the unclean spirit had a man and managed to them, as a prisoner, in his will. It is also said that the whole world lies IV TSh Novspu - in evil (English in a villa. - approx. Translator.). And some thought it was more correct to speak the body in the soul than the soul in the body, because the body is controlled by the soul. He was in an unclean spirit, as they say about a person, that he is in a fever or delirium, completely defeated by them.

Notice, the devil here is called an unclean spirit, because he lost all the purity of his nature, because he acts against the Holy Spirit of God and his suggestions defile the spirit of people. This man was in the synagogue where he came, as some think, not to get instruction or healing, but to oppose Christ, to oppose him and prevent the people to help him. Here we see:

1. The rage with which the unclean spirit met Christ: being in the presence of Christ, he cried, as if in agony, fear to be expelled. So demons believe and tremble, coming to horror before Christ, but not having hope for him, no reverence in front of him. As can be seen from his words (Art. 24), he did not intend to give up or agree with Christ (so far from the association or union with him), but he said as he knows about his fateful end.

(1) He calls him Jesus Nazarenin. As far as it is known, he was the first to call him so, and did it with the intention to inspire a low opinion of him with the intention of people (since nothing was expected from Nazareth) and prejudice against him as a deceiver (because everyone knew that the Messiah should be from Bethlehem ).

(2) And at the same time, the recognition is broken out of it that Jesus has the Holy God, as the servant broke out, obsessed with the spirit of privacy, the evidence that the apostles were the slaves of God of the Most High, Dean 16: 16,17. Those who only have the concept of Christ that he is Holy God, but does not believe in him and does not like him, not far away from this demon.

(3) In essence, he acknowledged that Christ is too strong for him an opponent and he cannot withstand His power: "Leave you that you are up to us, for if you take it for us, we disappeared, you can destroy us." The misfortune of these evil spirits is that they persist in their mate, although they know about their disastrous end.

(4) He did not want to have anything with Jesus Christ, for he had no hope of being saved and was afraid to be destroyed. What do you do before us? If you leave us, then we will leave you alone. Whose language is talking to those who turn to Almighty: retreat from us. As an unclean spirit, he hated and was afraid of Christ, as he knew that he was holy, for the carnal disturbance the essence of a hostility against God, especially against Holy Holiness.

2. The victory overlooked by Jesus Christ over an unclean spirit. For this, and the son of God, to destroy the works of the devil, and so he proves it. He will not be stopped in this war neither flattery of the devil, nor his threats. In vain, Satan stacked and prayed: Leave us. His power must be crushed, and the unfortunate man should get liberation. Therefore:

(1) Jesus commands. As he taught, he healed - with power. Jesus forbade him, packed and frightened him, forcing him to silence. Saluch, F1ISHVPT1 - Nona Muzzle. Christ has a muzzle for an unclean spirit when he wags the tail and when he barks; Such recognition that the unclean spirit did about him, Christ bends, he is very far from making them. Some recognize Christ by Holy God to continue evil harmful plans under the pretext of this religion; But confession is doubly disgusting for the Lord Jesus, since, hiding behind the name of Christ, they are looking for freedoms for sin, so they will be taken to silence. But it was not all: he had to not only silence, but also to get out of man; It was what he was afraid to be removed from further permit.

(2) But the unclean spirit surrendered, because he did not have a means against the power of Christ (Art. 26): He will shake him, attaching it in strong convulsions, so it was possible to think that he would tear it into pieces. When he failed to delete Christ, he turned rage on him and hit the unfortunate man. So when Christ frees his grace of unfortunate sacrifices from Satan's hands, it happens not without painful shaking and confusion of the soul, for this evil enemy will disturb those who can not destroy. He cried a loud voice to frighten those present and seem terrible to think about him that although he was defeated, but defeated only this time and hopes to renew the struggle again and restore his position.

II. The impression made by this miracle on the minds of people, Art. 27, 28.

1. It surprised her seen. And everyone was horrified. That a person was obsessed, it was completely obvious, no doubt, since this was evidenced by his concussion and a loud voice, which the Spirit cried. And it was also obvious that the Spirit was expelled from him the authorities of Christ. It struck them and forced to reason and contact each other with questions: "What is this new teaching? It must certainly be from God, if confirmed in this way. He who is able to command even unclean spirits, so they cannot resist, but forced to obey him, of course, has the power to command and us. " The Jewish caskarters claimed the expulsion of evil spirits by charms and spells, but it was completely different: he commanded them with power. Of course, this is in our interests - have your own one who has power over hellish spirits.

2. It raised his reputation in the eyes of everyone who heard about him. And soon it was sorted by Solva across the entire neighborhood in Galilee, who served as the third part of the Khananskaya land. This story was all on the lips, and people wrote about her friends across the country, accompanying the message by the comment made on this: What is this new teaching? And therefore, all came to the conclusion that he had a teacher who came from God, and as such as brighter, than if it was in all the magnificence and the power of an external nature, which Jews were expected by the Messiah. So now, when his forerunner John was concluded in the dungeon, he prepared his way; And the rumor about this miracle applied further, contrary to all the efforts of the Pharisees who envied his glory and made every effort to ecliphes her, because their blasphemous statements that he expels demons by force of Prince Nezovsky, had no success.

Poems 29-39.. These verses are contained:

I. A detailed description of one of the wonders committed by Christ in the healing of Petra, who was in a fever. We met this episode earlier, Matthew.

1. Making something that made him famous around the entire district, Christ did not calm down on this, like some who reached the Zenith of Glory and imagine that now they can rest on their laurels. No, he continued to charie, because it was, and not his own glory, it was his goal. Moreover, those who are surrounded by honor should be active and diligent to preserve it.

2. Coming out of the synagogue where he taught and healed with the Divine power, Christ, nevertheless, retained friendly relations with poor fishermen, who accompanied him, and did not consider it a humiliating for himself. Let us be the same temper, as much as he was.

3. He entered the house of Peter, probably at the invitation. He did not refuse to take hospitality, which could be offered to him a poor fisherman. The apostles have abandoned everything for the sake of Christ, so that what they owned, did not prevent them from serving him, moreover, so that it could be used for him.

4. He healed his mother-in-law, which was sick. Wherever Christ comes, he comes to do good, and you can be sure that he will generously reward.

Notice how complete was healing: when the calm left it, then there was no weakness, usual in such cases, but the same hand that healed the woman strengthened it, so she could serve them. Healing is committed in order to make us able to work and so that we can serve Christ and for the sake of him - closest.

II. A general overview of numerous healers committed by: Heavy diseases and expelled demons. It happened on Saturday evening, when the sun came, or already came. Probably, many were not solved to bring patients to him until the end of the Saturday, but their impact on this issue was not a prejudice that prevented them to turn to Christ. Although he has proven to legally heal on Saturday, however, if someone is tugged on this, they can come to another time.

Note:

1. How many patients were. The whole city gathered to the doors, as a beggar behind the alignment. Such a praise around it was caused by the only healing in the synagogue. Successful in the knowledge of Christ must inspire us to the search for him. The sun of the truth rises and healing in his rays; All nations will gather to him.

Notice that the crowds followed by Christ both in the Synagogue and in a private house. Wherever he was, let his servants, his patients be there. And on a Saturday evening, when worship is already over, we must continue our ministry to Jesus Christ; He healed, as Paul preached, and nationwide, and at home.

2. How the doctor was powerful. He healed all brought to him, despite the fact that there were so many of them. Moreover, he is not his doctor, but he precipitated many suffering from various diseases, for his word was a lauree-tool from any pain. The individual miracle he made in the synagogue was repeated in the evening in the house, for he expelled many demons and did not allow them to say that they know that he was Christ; He will no longer allow anyone from them to say, as one said (Art. 24): I know you who you are.

III. His privacy for personal, secret prayer, Art. 35. He prayed, prayed alone in order to leave us an example of a secret prayer. Although he prayed as God, but as a man he himself prayed. Although he glorified God and worked good in his public ministry, nevertheless found time to be alone with his father. So it was supposed to fulfill all the truth. Note:

1. Time when Christ prayed.

(1) It was early in the morning, for the next day after Saturday. When a Southbath day ended, he had passed, we should not think that you can interrupt our prayers until the next Saturday. Although we do not go to the synagogue, but should go to the throne of grace every day throughout the week, and especially in the morning after Saturday to save good impressions of this day. This morning was the morning of the first day of the week, which he subsequently consecrated and made a memorable, waiver too early in the morning, although in a different sense.

(2) It was early, very early. When others slept in their beds, he prayed as the authentic son of David, early looking for God, guiding his prayers in the morning, moreover, and at midnight standing to give gratitude. It is said that morning is a friend of muses, Aurora Musis Aica. Moreover, it can be said about grace. When our spirit is especially vigorous and revived, we should take time for exercise in prayer. He, which is the first and best, should be given the very first and best.

2. Place where he prayed. He retired to the desert place, or for the city, or in some remote garden or structure. Christ did not threaten the danger to distract or succumb to temptation from vanity, and yet he retired, filing us an example of the fulfillment of his own principle: when you pray, enter your room. Secret prayer must be secret. Those who are busy with public labor, and more good labor, have to be alone with God from time to time; Must be deleted in a secluded place to talk there and have communication with him.

IV. His return to public, work. The disciples that believed that I got up early, found that the teacher got up before and learning them, in which direction he left, went after him to the desert place, where they found him praying, Art. 36, 37. They told him how he was needed by people, what a great many patients await him: everyone is looking for you. They were proud that their teacher became such popular, and wanted him to appear in society, especially here, because it was their hometown. We are also biased to familiar and objective places. "No," said Christ, "Capernaum should not use a monopoly on sermons and miracles of the Messiah. Let's go to the neighbor and cities to preach and create miracles there, because I did not come to be constantly in one place, but to go everywhere, making good. " Even residents of the villages in Israel are praising to the Lord.

Notice, Christ always meant the goal for which he came, and steadily sought her; Neither the annoying, no conviction of his friends could distract him from her, for (Art. 39) He preached in the synagogues of them all over Galilee, and expelled demons to glorify and confirm his teachings. Note. Christ the doctrine - death for Satan.

Poems 40-45. It contains a story about how Christ cleared the lepers, which we have already read, MF 8: 2-4. It teaches us the following:

1. How to turn to Christ - as it made a lease:

(1) with deep humility; He came up, begging him and falling before him on his knees (Art. 40), whether he gave him God's honors as God, or rather, a tribute to the great prophet. This teaches us what those who wish to receive grace and grace from Christ must attribute honor and glory to him and start him with humility and reverence.

(2) With a solid faith in its strength: you can clean me. Although externally, Christ looked ordinary man, however, the lease was confident in his power. This speaks of his belief that he was sent by God. He believed in it not only in general: you can all (like in John 11:22), but also in relation to yourself: you can clean me. We must bring our faith in the power of Christ to practical application in your personal life: you can do it for me.

(3) With the humility of the will of Christ: Lord, if you want ... He did not express doubts about the readiness of Christ to help those who, but, bringing his personal need for him, showed modesty that was appropriate to the poor.

2. What to expect from Christ - by faith, we will be. The appeal of the lepers was not expressed in the form of prayer, and yet Christ responded to him as a petition. Note. Cardiac confession of faith in Christ and the expression of humility to him are the strongest details, they are faster than the militia asking for Christ.

(1) Christ soared over him. It is so written here, by Mark to show that the power of Christ opened his pity to the unfortunate souls, the desire to bring them relief; That the grounds for their favor, he draws to us in itself, there is nothing in us that it could call him, our misfortunes make us the objects of His mercy. And all that he does for us, he does with all possible tenderness.

(2) He shifted his hand and touched it. He strained his power and sent it to this man. Healing the souls, Christ concerns them, 1 sir 10:26. When the queen touched the disease, she said: I touch, and God heals. But Christ concerns and heals.

(3) He said: I want to be cleaned. The power of Christ manifested itself in the Word and through a word, and it showed how Christ made spiritual healings: he sent his word, and healed, PS 116: 20; Ioan 15: 3; 17:17. Poor ledged added if to the desire of Christ: if you want ... But this doubt was soon eliminated: I want. Christ with the greatest willingness wants to favorably to those who, with the greatest readiness he betrays himself. The lepers was confident in the power of Christ: you can clean me, and Christ wants to show how his power is driven by faith of his people, so says the word as power having: Clean. This word was accompanied by force, and instantly healing happened. Razoza immediately descended from him, and even the trace was left of her, st. 42.

3. What to do after we have found grace from Christ - along with his Milosts to accept His commandments. When Christ healed the lepers, he looked at him strictly (in the English Bible version of 1611, which the author enjoys, it was said: strictly forbade him. - approx. Translator.). Here is the meaningful word-ipiodvog-prohibition with threats. I tend to the fact that this applies not to the indication about hiding what happened to him (Art. 44), because it was said separately, but that it was a warning, similar to what Christ made he-premissible, John 5: 14: Not sin more, so that it does not happen to you worse, for a leprosy was usually punished by special sinners, such as Mariam, Hisei and Ozia. Healing lepers, Christ warned him, threatened him with a fatal outcome, if he returns to sin again. He also commanded him:

(1) seem to the priest to give a priest to give his conclusion about aprote, thereby witnessed about Christ that he is Messiah, MF 11: 5.

(2) In the time being he does not do this, nothing to talk to anyone. This manifested itself to the humility of Christ and his self-denial, he did not seek his own glory, did not exalted his voices, IP 42: 2. This is an example for us so that we do not seek our own glory, Prov 25:27. He could not be discovered about his cleansing openly, as it would cause an increase in the crowd following Christ the people, who, in his opinion, was too large without that. This does not mean that he did not want to do good everyone, no matter how much of them came, but what he wanted to do this, creating as little noise as possible, without causing the complaints of the authorities, without disturbing public order and not giving a reason for suspicion of boasting or thirst public approval. What can be said about the fact that the leisure has begun to proclaim and talk about what happened, I do not know; silent about the merits and good deeds of good people more applies to themselves than their friends; And we are not always connected by the humble commands of humble people. The lepers should be performed by the command, however, the disclosure of the fact of healing, undoubtedly, had good intentions under him and did not entail other bad consequences, except for increasing the number of following Christ, so he could not clearly enter the city; Not because of the persecution (there was no such danger), but due to the fact that the crowd was numerous and the city streets did not contain it, so he was forced to go to desert places, on the mountain (Map 3:13), to the sea , Map 4: 1. This shows how it is advisable to us that Christ left and sent a comforter, since, staying in the body, he could be at the same time only in one place, which came to him from everywhere could not come close to him. But his spirit he can be with his children everywhere, wherever they are, and come to them in any place.

From the brand holy gospel

1 Beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God,

2 As the prophets are written: here, I am sending the angel of mine before your face, which will prepare your way to you.

3 glasses of blatant in the desert: Cook the way to the Lord, make a strand of the path.

4 was John, a cross in the desert and preaching the baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

5 And the whole country of Judah and Jerusalemne went to him, and he was baptized from him in the Jordan River, confessing their sins.

6 John wore clothes from camel hair and a leather belt on his sick, and ate acrides and wild honey.

7 and preached, saying: it goes after me the strongest me, from whom I am not fit, leaning, unleash the shoe belt;

8 I baptized you with water, and he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.

9 And it was in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth Galilean and baptized from John in Jordan.

10 And when he left the water, immediately saw John Screw to heaven and the Spirit, like a pigeon that comes back on it.

11 and voice was from heaven: You are my sweetheart son, in which my favor.

12 Immediately after the Spirit leads him to the desert.

13 And he was there in the desert forty days, tempting Satanoy, and was with beasts; And the angels served him.

14 After the way John was devoted, Jesus came to Galileo, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God

15 and speaking, that the time was fulfilled and the kingdom of God was approaching: Just and believe in the gospel.

16 Passing near the sea of Galilean, saw Simon and Andrei, his brother, throwing the networks in the sea, for they were fishermen.

17 And Jesus told them: go for me, and I will do that you will be worried people.

18 And they immediately, leaving their networks, followed him.

19 and, having passed from there a little, he saw Jacob Zezedeeva and John, his brother, also in a boat reminishing networks;

20 And immediately called them. And they, leaving the father of their zezeda in a boat with employees, followed him.

21 and come to Capernaum; And soon on Saturday he entered the synagogue and taught.

22 And his teachings were divided, for he taught them how the power having, and not as a scribes.

23 In the synagogue there were a man obsessed The spirit is unclean, and cried:

24 Leave! What do you do before us, Jesus Nazaryan? You came to destroy us! I know you who you are, Holy God.

25 But Jesus forbade him, saying: shut down and get out of it.

26 Then the spirit is unclean, shaking it and screaming with a loud voice, left it.

27 And everyone was horrified, so each other was asked: what is it? What is this new doctrine that he and spirits are unclean commanding with the authorities, and they obey him?

28 And soon sorted by Solva across the neighborhood in Galilee.

29 Going soon from the synagogue, came to Simon and Andrei House, with Jacob and John.

30 The mother-in-law, Simonov lay in hot; And immediately tell him about her.

31 suitable, he raised her, taking her hand; And the hardy immediately left her, and she began to serve them.

32 At the occurrence of the evening, when the sun came, brought to him all sicks and the undesirable.

33 And the whole city gathered to the door.

34 and he healed many suffering from various diseases; He expelled many demons, and did not allow the demon to say that they know that he was Christ.

35 And in the morning, stuck very early, came out and retired to the deserted place, and prayed there.

36 Simon and the former with him went after him

37 And, having found him, they say to him: everyone is looking for you.

38 He tells them: Let's go to the neighboring villages and the city so that I am preaching there, for I came to me.

39 And he preached in the synagogues of them all over Galilee and expelled demons.

40 comes to him lepers and, begging him and falling before him on his knees, says to him: If you want, you can clean me.

41 Jesus, dying over him, shifted his hand, touched him and told him: I want to be cleaned.

42 After this, the words of leprosy immediately sued him, and he became clean.

43 And looking at him strictly, immediately sent him

44 And he told him: Look, no one says anything, but go, show your priest and bring yours for cleansing that Moses commanded, in the testimony to them.

45 And he, coming out, began to proclaim and talk about what happened, so Jesus I could not clearly enter the city, but was out, in places of deserted. And came to him from everywhere.

1 through some Days came again in Capernaum; And heard it became that he is in the house.

2 Many came immediately, so there was no place at the door; And he spoke to them the word.

3 and came to him with relaxed, which were carried by four;

4 and without being able to get closer to him for crowded, revealed blood At home where he was, and, turning her, the bed was lowered, on which he lay relaxed.

5 Jesus, seeing the faith of them, says relaxed: Choo! You forgive your sins of yours.

6 Here sat some of the scribes and thought in their hearts:

7 What is so blasphemy? Who can forgive sins except one of God?

8 Jesus, immediately recognizing the Spirit for his, that they think so in themselves, told them: why do you think so in your hearts?

9 What is easier? To tell if the sins say goodbye to you? Or say: Get up, take your bed and go?

10 But that you know that the Son of Human has power on Earth to forgive sins, "says relaxed:

11 I tell you: get up, take your bed and go to your house.

12 He immediately stood up and, took the bed, came out before everyone, so that everyone was amazed and glorified God, saying: never had anything like that.

13 and came out Jesus Again to the sea; And all the people went to him, and he taught them.

14 Passing, he saw Levie Alfeyev, sitting at the collection of duties, and tells him: Follow me. AND is he, I put, followed him.

15 And when Jesus reclined him in his house, his students and many of Mytari and sinners were resting with him: for there were many of them, and they followed him.

16 scribes and Pharisees, seeing that he eats with sooters and sinners, said his disciples: how does he eat and drink with sooters and sinners?

17 Hearing sie Jesus tells them: not healthy have a need for a doctor, but patients; I came to call no righteous, but sinners to repentance.

18 Pupils of John and Pharisees fasted. Come to him and say: why the disciples of John and Pharisees will fast, and your students will not stand?

19 And Jesus told them: Can the sons of the name of the marriage can fast when with them? Doconcoule with them the bridegroom, can not fast

20 But the days will come when they are taken away from their bridegroom, and then will be fast in those days.

21 Nobody attaches patch from unbleached fabric: Otherwise, the oldest will take away from the old one, and the hole will be even worse.

22 No one pies the wines of the young in the bellows of the Old: otherwise the young wine will break up the bellue, and the wine is flowing, and the bellows will disappear; But the wine is young to pour new ones in the bellows.

. The beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God,

. as written in the prophets: here, I am sending an angel of my before your face, who will prepare your way to you.

. Glory blatant in the desert: Cook the way to the Lord, make the lucky path to him.

John, the last of the prophets, the evangelist represents the beginning of the gospel of the Son of God, because the end of the Old Town is the beginning of the New Testament. As for the certificate of the forerunner, it is taken from two prophets - from Malachia: "Here I am sending my angel, and he will prepare the way before I" () and from Isaiah: "Voice in the wilderness" () etc. These are the words of God Father to the Son. He refers to the forerunner of the angel for his angelic and almost disembodied life and for the announcement and instructions of the upcoming Christ. John prepared the path of the Lord, prepared by the baptism of the soul of Jews to the adoption of Christ: "Before your face" - So your angel is close to you. This means the relative proximity of the forerunner to Christ, since predominantly referral personnel are honored.

"Voice in the wilderness", that is, in the desert of the Jordanian, and even more in the Judaian synagogue, which was empty in relation to good. The "path" means "drains" - dilapidated, as repeatedly broken by Jews. To the way, that is, to the New Testament, they had to be prepared, and the pulp pulp pulp, because although they accepted them, but they subsequently followed their paths and worn.

. John appeared, a cross in the desert and preaching the baptism of repentance for the forgiveness of sins.

. And the whole country of Judea and Jerusalemne went to him, and all in the river Jordan were baptized, confessing their sins.

Johno Baptism had no scope of sins, but introduced one repentance for people. But how does Mark says here: "For the forgiveness of sins"? This is responsible for this that John preached the baptism of repentance. And this sermon to led? For the rehabits of sins, that is, the baptism of Christ, which concluded in itself and his vacation of sins. When we say, for example, that such something came before the king, the commanding to cook food for the king, then we understand that the fulfillment of this command is varying the king. So here. The Forerunner preached the baptism of repentance so that people, repenting and accepting Christ, were leaving sins.

. John wore clothes from camel hair and a leather belt on his sick, and ate acrides and wild honey.

We have already talked about this in the Gospel of Matthew; Now let's just say about what is omitted there, it is: that John's clothing was a sign of reference, and the Prophet showed that he should cry, since the orderly serves as a crying; The leather belt meant the deaderness of the Jewish people. And that this clothing meant crying, the Lord himself says about this: "We sang you sad songs (Slavic "Claw"), and you did not sob, ", calling the forerunner's life here, because it says: "John came, nor eating nor drinks; And they say: in it demon " (). Equally food of John, pointing here, of course, on the abstinence, was together and the spiritual food of the then Jews, who did not eat clean birds of heaven, that is, they did not think about anything high, but they only fed on the word sublime and directed grief, but again falling the dollars . For the locust ("acrides") is such an insect, which jumps up, and then falls again to the ground. Equally, the people eating and honey produced by bees, that is, the prophets; But he left him without care and was not multiplied by the deepening and correct understanding, although the Jews thought they would mean and comprehend Scripture. They had scriptures, as if some honey, but did not work on them and did not explore them.

. And preached, saying: it goes after me the strongest me, from which I am not fit, leaning, unleash the belt of shoes;

. i baptized you with water, and he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.

I, "says, is not enough to be even the most last slave it, who would have unleashed the belt, that is, a knot on the belt boot. Understand, by the way, and so: all who came and pecked from John were resolved by repent of their sins when they believed in Christ. Thus, John had all the belts and sinful belts, and Jesus could not resolve such a belt, because he did not find this belt, that is, sin.

. And it was in those days, Jesus came from Nazareth Galilean and baptized from John in Jordan.

. And when I came out of the water, immediately saw John expanding heaven and the Spirit, like a dove that comes out on him.

. And the voice was from heaven: You are my sweetheart son, in which my favor.

Not for the liberation of sins, Jesus comes to baptism, for sin he did not create, equally and not for the spirit of the Holy Spirit, for how could Ioannovo baptism to grant the Spirit when it was not cleared of sins, how did I say? But not for repentance goes he is baptized because he was "More Baptist" (). So why is it coming? Without a doubt, in order for John to declare him. Since many glanced there, then favored to come to witness to be before many who he, and together and in order to fulfill "all the truth", that is, all the commandments of the law. Because obedience to the baptine prophet, as sent from God, there was also a commandment, then Christ performs and this commandment. The Spirit is not because Christ is needed in this (for essentially he is in it), but so that you know that the Holy Spirit is coming on you with baptism. With the descent of the Holy Spirit immediately is the testimony. Since the father spoke more than: "You are my son," that heard did not think that he speaks about John, coming down on Jesus Spirit, showing that it was said about him. Heaven is clarified so that we know that they are rejected to us when we are baptized.

. Immediately after the Spirit leads him to the desert.

. And he was there in the desert forty days, tempting Satanoy, and was with beasts; And the angels served him.

Taking advice not to be disconnected when after baptism we fall in temptation, the Lord goes to the temptation or, better, does not leave, and the Holy Spirit is given by the Holy Spirit, showing through what and we do not have to force themselves in temptations, but take them when they comprehend us. And in the mountain goes to ensure that due to the desertion of the place, the devil calms down and could start him; For he usually attacks when he sees that we are alone. The place of temptation was before that wild that there were beasts in many things. Angels began to serve him after he defeated the tempter. All this in the Gospel of Matthew is set aside.

. After the same way, John was devoted, Jesus came to Galileo, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God

. and saying that the time was coming and the kingdom of God was approaching: Join and believe in the gospel.

Having heard that John was devoted to the dungeon, Jesus was removed in Galileo, in order to show us that he should not go into temptations themselves, but to avoid them when they fell, to endure. Christ preaches, apparently, one and the same with John, somehow: "Refer" and "the kingdom of God approached." But in fact, not the same thing: John says "Refer" in order to reject from sins, and Christ says "Refer" in order to fall behind the letter of the law, why and enhanced: "Believe in the Gospel", for that Who wants to believe in the Gospel, has already abolished the law. The Lord brings that "the time" of the law was "fulfilled. Delightened, "says," the law was in action, and by now the kingdom of God comes, life in the gospel. This life is fairly represented by the "kingdom" of heaven, for when you see that living in the Gospel behaves almost like an affordable, as you can not say that he has already the kingdom of heaven (where there is no food, nor whitish), although it seems also long away.

. Passing near the sea of Galilean, saw Simon and Andrei, his brother, throwing the nets in the sea, for they were fishermen.

. And Jesus said to them: go for me, and I will do that you will be the catches of people.

. And they immediately leaving their networks followed him.

. And, having passed from there a little, he saw James Zejedeyeva and John, his brother, also in the boat reminishing networks;

. and immediately called them. And they, leaving the father of their zezeda in a boat with employees, followed him.

Peter and Andrey first were students of the forerunner, and when he saw the testimony of John Jesus, they joined him. Then, when John was devoted, they switched to their former occupation with sorrow. So, Christ calls them now for the second time, for this appeal is already the second. Note that they were fed from their righteous work, and not from unrighteous occupations. Such people were worth being the first disciples of Christ. Immediately threw the former in their hands, they went after him; For it should not be slow, but should immediately follow. After the day, Jacob and John hurt. And these, although they themselves were poor, however, they impregnated the elderly father of their own. But they left the Father not because to leave the parents a good deed, but because he wanted to prevent them from follow the Lord. So you when parents will impede you, leave them and follow the good. It can be seen, Zezedy did not believe, but the mother believed the Apostles and, when he died Zezedy, also followed the Lord. Note the same, that before the act, and then contemplation, for Peter is the image of the act, because there was a flame character and always warned others that the act, John, opposite, represents contemplation, for theologians to superiority.

. And come to the capernaum; And soon on Saturday he entered the synagogue and taught.

. And his teachings were divided, for he taught them how he had power, and not as scribes.

Where did you get to Capernaum? Of Nazareth, and moreover on the day of Sabbath. When we were usually going to read the law, then Christ came to learn. For the law and the law commanded to celebrate Saturday, so that people do reading, going to this together. The Lord taught the Lord incentenably, and not flattering, as the Pharisees: I urged to do good, but I threatened the torment.

. In the synagogue there were a man obsessed The spirit is unclean, and cried:

. leave! What do you do before us, Jesus Nazaryan? You came to destroy us! I know you who you are, Holy God.

. But Jesus forbade him, saying: shut down and get out of it.

. Then the spirit is unclean, shaking it and screaming with a loud voice, left it.

. And everyone was horrified, so I asked each other: what is it? What is this new doctrine that he and spirits are unclean commanding with the authorities, and they obey him?

. And soon it was sorted by Solva across the entire neighborhood in Galilee.

Evil spirits are called "unclean" because they love all sorts of unclean affairs. To get out of a person, the demon honors the "deception" for himself. Evil demons and generally imputed to the malformation to themselves, when they are not allowed to make evil people. Moreover, being acknowledged and accustomed to delighting the substance, they seem to suffer a big hunger when they do not live in bodies. Therefore, the Lord says that the demonsky genus is expelled by post. The unclean did not say Christ: you will holy, because many of the prophets were holy, but said the "holy", that is, the only one in the essence of his holy. But Christ makes him silence, so we knew that demons should climb mouth, at least they said and truth. The Bes molds and shakes himself very much so that eyewitnesses, seeing, from what disaster a person gets rid of, for the sake of a miracle.

. Coming soon from the synagogue, they came to the house of Simon and Andrei with Jacob and John.

. The mother-in-law, Simonov lay in hot; And immediately tell him about her.

. Apparently, he raised her by taking her hand; And the hardy immediately left her, and she began to serve them.

By evening on Saturday, as usual, the Lord went to the house of students for eating. Meanwhile, the one that was supposed to serve at Semi, was worried. But the Lord heals her, and she begins to serve them. These words are given to know that you, when you heal you from the disease, must consume their health to the ministry of the Holy and on the widespitude of God [...].

. Upon the occurrence of the evening, when the sun came in, brought to him all sicks and the undesirable.

. And the whole city gathered to the door.

. And he healed many suffering from various diseases; He expelled many demons, and did not allow the demon to say that they know that he was Christ.

Not without reasons added: "When the sun came". As we thought that it was not detranally to heal on the day of the Sabbath, we waited for the sunset and then began to bring patients for healing. "Many" healed, said instead of "all", because all make up a lot; Or: not everyone healed because some were unbelieving, which were not healed for their disbelief, but "many" from the brought healed, that is, those that had faith. Besames did not allow to talk in order to, as I said, teach us not to believe them, at least they said and truth. Otherwise, if they find someone who trusts them, then what they will not do, damned, mixing the lies to the truth! So Paul forbade the deliberate spirit to say: "These people are the slaves of the god of Vysnyago"; Holy Husband did not want to hear the revocation and testimony from unclean mouth. . He tells them: Let's go to the neighboring villages and cities to preach me there, for I came to me.

. And he preached in the synagogues of them all over Galilee and expelled demons.

After the patients healed, the Lord goes into a secluded place, while taking us, so that we do not show anything, but if we do what good, we would hurry to hide him. And he also prays in order to show us that everything that is doing good, should attribute to God and tell him: "Every gift is good and every gift perfectly descends over, from the father of the lights" (). In itself, Christ did not even have needed in prayer. Further, when the people were looking for and walked hard, he was not given to him, although it takes it with favor, but goes to others in need of healing and instruction. For it should not limit the teachings in one place, but it is necessary to disperse the rays of the word everywhere. But see how it connects with the teachings Act: I preach, and then I expels the demons. So you teach and create things together, so that your word was not in vain. Otherwise, if Christ did not show together and miracles, I would not believe the word.

. He comes to him ledging and, begging him and falling before him on his knees, says to him: if you want, you can clean me.

. Jesus, having worried about him, shifted his hand, touched him and told him: I want to cleanse it.

. After this, the words of leprosy immediately sued him, and he became clean.

Prindzuven was a leisure and believed; Therefore, did not say: if you ask God; But believing in him as in God, said: "If you want." Christ touches him as a sign that nothing is unclean. The law banned to touch the lepers as unclean; But the Savior, wanting to show that there is nothing by nature is unclean that the requirements of the law should be abolished and that they are only over people, touches the lepers - while Elisha was so afraid of the law, which did not want to see Neeman, lepers and asked Healing.

. And, looking at him strictly, immediately sent him

. and he told him: Look, no one says anything, but go, show your priest and bring yours for cleansing that Moses commanded, to testimony.

. And he, coming out, began to proclaim and talk about what happened, so Jesus I could not clearly enter the city, but was out, in places of deserted. And came to him from everywhere.

And from this we learn not to expose yourself at the bottom when we give anyone to someone, for Jesus, Jesus, tells the clever not to disclose about him. Although he knew that he would not listen and declineally, however, as I said, I didn't tell us to love vanity, telling us anyone. But on the other hand, all the vague must be grateful and grateful, at least benefactor did not need it. So lepers discloses the beneficiaries, despite the fact that the Lord did not tell him. Christ sends him to the priest, because according to the command of the law, the lepers could not otherwise enter the city, as to announce the priestly about cleansing him from leprosy, otherwise he had to be expelled from the city. At the same time, the Lord tells him to bring the gift, as we were brought by the cleared: this is to testify that he is not an opponent of the law, on the contrary, so much values them that they are invened in the law and he commands.

Introduction to the Gospel of Mark
Synoptic gospel

The first three Gospels - from Matthew, from Mark, from Luke - are known as the synoptic gospel. Word synopticcomes from two Greek words meaning see generalthat is, we consider parallel and see common places.

Undoubtedly, the most important of the Gospels mentioned is the Gospel of Mark. You can even say that this is the most important book in the world, because almost everyone agrees with the fact that this Gospel was written before all and, therefore, it is the first of the lives of Jesus that reached us. Probably, before that, they tried to record the history of the life of Jesus, but, without any doubt, the gospel of the brand is the earliest of the preserved and reached our life-writings of Jesus.

The emergence of the gospels

Thinking over the issue of the origin of the Gospels, it must be borne in mind that there were no printed books in that era in the world. The gospels were written long before the invention of typography, in the era, when every book, each copy had to be diligently and painstakingly writing from hand. Obviously, as a result, only a very small number of copies of each book existed.

How can I find out, or what can we conclude that the gospel of the brand was written before others? Even when reading the synoptic gospels, a remarkable resemblance between them can be seen. They contain the same events that are often transmitted by the same words and the information contained in them about the teachings of Jesus Christ often almost completely coincide. If you compare the event about the saturation of five thousand (Mar.6, 30 - 44; Mat.14, 13-21; Onion. nine,10 - 17) striking that it is written almost the same words and in the same manner. Another clear example is a story about healing and forgiveness of a relaxed (Mar.2, 1-12; Mat.9, 1-8; Onion.5, 17 - 26). Stories are so similar that even the words "tells relaxed" are given in all three Gospels in the same place. Compliance and coincidence is so obvious that one of two conclusions suggests: either all three author took information from one source, or two of the three were based on the third.

With a more careful examination, you can divide the gospel from the brand by 105 episodes, of which 93 are found in the Gospel of Matthew and 81 - in the Gospel of Luke, and only four episodes are not found in the Gospels from Matthew and Luke. But even more convincing is the following fact. In the Gospel of Mark 661 verse, in the Gospel of Matthew - 1068, in the Gospel of Luke - 1149 poems. Of the 661 verses of the Gospel of Mark, 606 verses in the Gospel of Matthew are given. Matthew's expressions are sometimes different from the expressions of the brand, but, nevertheless, Matthew uses 51% words used by Mark. Of the same 661 verses of the Gospel of the brand used 320 poems in the Gospel of Luke. In addition, Luke consumes 53% of words that really used Mark. Only 55 poems of the gospel of Mark are not found in the gospel of Matthew, but 31 verse from these 55 occurs at Luke. Thus, only 24 verses from the Gospel of Mark are not found in the Gospel of Matthew, nor from Luke. All this indicates that, apparently, Matthew and Luca used the Gospel from Mark as the basis for the Scriptures of their Gospels.

But the next fact convinces us even more. And Matthew, and Luka largely adhere to the order of events adopted by Mark.

Sometimes this order is broken by Math or Luke. But these changes in Matthew and Luke neverdo not match.

One of them always preserves the order of events adopted by Mark.

Attentive study of these three Gospel shows that the Gospel of Mark was written earlier than the Gospels from Matthew and from Luke, and they used the Gospel from Mark as a basis and added those additional information that they wanted to include in it.

Captures breathing when you think that by reading the gospel from Mark, you read the first lives of Jesus, on which the authors of all subsequent lives were resting.

Mark, author of the Gospel

What do we know about the brand that wrote the Gospel? In the New Testament there is quite a lot about him. He was the son of a wealthy resident of Jerusalem named Maria, whose home served as a place of collection and prayers of the early Christian church (Acts.12, 12). Mark from childhood was brought up in the thicker of the Christian fraternity.

In addition, Mark was a nephew of the Varnava, and when Paul and Varnaba went to their first missionary journey, they took a brand with them as secretary and assistant (Acts 12.25). This journey turned out to be extremely unsuccessful for the brand. Arriving with Varnava and Mark in Pergriya, Paul offered to go deep into the Malaya Asia on Central Plateau and here, for some reason, Mark left the Barnava and Paul and returned home to Jerusalem (Act. 13,13). Maybe he turned back because he wanted to avoid the dangers of the road, which was one of the most difficult and dangerous in the world, on which it was difficult to travel and on which there were many robbers. Maybe he returned, because the forwarding of the expedition was more and more moved to Paul, and did not like the brand that his uncle, Varnaba, was pushed into the background. Maybe he returned because he did not approve what Paul did. John Zlatoust - maybe in a flashing glimpse - said Mark went home because he wanted to live from a mother.

Having finished his first missionary journey, Paul and Varnabas were going to go to the second. Varnaba again wanted to take a brand with me. But Paul refused to have anything with a man, "retired from them in Pamphilia" (Acts.15, 37-40). Disagreements between Pavlom and Varnava were so significant that they broke up and, as far as we know, never worked together.

For several years, Mark disappeared from our field of view. According to legend, he went to Egypt and founded the church in Alexandria. We, however, do not know the truth, but we know that he has appeared again in a strange way. To our surprise, we learn that Mark was with Paul in prison in Rome, when Paul wrote his message to Colossians (Count.4, 10). In another written in the prison of the message to Filimon (Art. 23) Paul calls the brand among its employees. And in anticipation of his death and already very close to his end, Paul writes Timothy, formerly his right hand: "Mark take and bring with him, for I need it to serve" (2 Tim.4, 11). What has changed since Paul swamped brand man without excerpt. Whatever happens, Mark corrected his mistake. He was needed by Paul when his end was approaching.

INFORMATION SOURCES

The value written depends on sources from which information is taken. Where did Mark take information about the life and accomplishments of Jesus? We have already seen that his house was from the very beginning the center of Christians in Jerusalem. He must have often listened to people who personally who knew Jesus. It is also possible that he had other sources of information.

Somewhere at the end of the second century there was a man named Papia, the bishop of the Church of the city of Ierapol, who loved to collect information on the early days of the Church. He said that the Gospel of Mark is nothing more than the recording of the preachs of the Apostle Peter. Without a doubt, Mark stood so close to Peter and was so close to his heart that he could call him "Mark, My Son" (1 Pet.5, 13). This is what Popey says:

"Mark, the former interpreter of Peter recorded with accuracy, but not in order, everything that he recalled from the words and acts of Jesus Christ, because he did not hear the Lord himself and was not his student; he became later as I said, Petra's student ; Peter also connected his instruction with practical needs, not even trying to pass the word of the Lord in consistent order. So Mark came correctly, writing down the memory, because he cared only about how to miss and not distort anything from heard " .

Therefore, for two reasons, we consider the gospel from the brand an extremely important book. First, it is the most first gospel, and if it was written shortly after the death of the Apostle Peter, it refers to the 65th year. Secondly, it contains the preaching of the apostle Peter: what he taught and that he preached about Jesus Christ. In other words - the gospel of the brand is the most close thing to the truth is the evidence of the eyewitness about the life of Jesus, which we have.

Lost End.

We note an important point regarding the Gospel of Mark. In its original form, it ends on Mar.16, 8. We know this for two reasons. First, the following poems (Mar.16, 9 - 20) are absent in all important early manuscripts; They are contained only in later and less significant manuscripts. Secondly, the style of the Greek language is so different from the rest of the manuscript that the last poems could not be written by the same person.

But intentionsstop by Mar.16, 8 The author could not be. What happened then? Perhaps Mark died, and maybe even the death of the martyr, did not have time to complete the Gospel. But it is likely that only one copy of the Gospel remained, and the ending it could also be lost. Once the church used the Gospel from Mark, preferring to him the Gospel from Matthew and from Luke. Maybe the gospel of Mark was betrayed by oblivion precisely because all copies were lost except for the lost ending. If so, then we were in the hairs from to lose the gospel, which is in many ways the most important of all.

Features Gospel Marka

Pay attention to the features of the gospel of the brand and analyze them.

1) It approaches more than others to the eyewitness report on the life of Jesus Christ. Before Marka stood the task of outlining Jesus as he was. Wescott called the Gospel from the brand "Copy from Life". A. B. Bruce said that it was written, "as a living love memoir" that his most important feature in his realism.

2) Mark never forgot Divine qualities in Jesus. Mark begins his gospel with the presentation of his Credo faith. "The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God." He does not leave us any doubt about who he considered Jesus. Mark again and again speaks of the impression that Jesus produced on the minds and hearts heard him. Mark always remembers the reverence and surprise that he called. "And his teaching was divided" (1, 22); "And everyone was horrified" (1, 27) - such phrases occur at the brand again and again. This surprise was amazing not only the minds of people in his crowd listened; An even greater surprise reigned in the minds of his nearest students. "And feared the Great fear and spoke between themselves: who is that the wind and the sea obey him?" (4, 41). "And they were extremely amazed in themselves and divided" (6, 51). "The disciples were horrified by the words of him" (10, 24). "They are extremely amazed" (10, 26).

For Mark, Jesus was not just a person among people; He was God among people who constantly put people in amazement and horror in his own words and deeds.

3) and, at the same time, in no other, the Gospel is not shown so bright humanity of Jesus. Sometimes his image is so close to the image of a person that other authors change it a bit, because they are almost afraid to repeat what Mark says. Marka Jesus "just carpenter" (6, 3). Matthew will later change it and says the "Son of Carpenter" (Mat13, 55), as if to call Jesus a rustic artisan - a big audacity. Talking about the temptations of Jesus, Mark writes: "Immediately after the Spirit leads him (in the script: drive)in the desert "(1, 12). Matthew and onions do not want to use this word ratin relation to Jesus, so they soften it and say: "Jesus was erected by the Spirit in the Desert" (Mat.4, 1). "Jesus ... behaved in the Spirit in the Desert" (Onion.4, 1). No one told us so much about the feelings of Jesus as Mark. Jesus deeply sighed (7, 34; 8, 12). Jesus was compressed (6, 34). He was surprised by their disbelief (6, 6). He looked at them with anger (3, 5; 10, 14). Only Mark told us that Jesus, looking at the young young man, having a great estate, loved him (10.21). Jesus could feel hunger (11.12). He could feel the fatigue and need to relax (6, 31).

It was in the gospel of Mark that the image of Jesus came to us with the same feelings as we have. The pure humanity of Jesus in the image of the brand makes it closer to us.

4) One of the important features of the letter of the lettermark is that it is again and again in the text of live paintings and details, characteristic of the stories of the eyewitness. And Matthew and Mark talk about how Jesus called the child and put it in the center. Matthew transfers this event like this: "Jesus, calling the child, put it in the midst of them." Mark adds something that throws the bright light to the whole picture (9.36): "And taking a child, put it in the midst of them, and hugging him, said to them..". And to the beautiful picture of Jesus and children, when Jesus stakes the students for the fact that they were not allowed to him, only Mark adds such a barcode: "And hugging them, laid hands on them and blessed them." (Mar.10, 13 - 16; cf. Mat.19, 13 - 15; Onion.18, 15 - 17). These little live strokes transmit all the tenderness of Jesus. In the story about the saturation of five thousand only Mark indicates that they sat down in rows for a hundred and fifty, like the garden in the garden (6, 40) and the whole picture of vividly rises in our eyes. Describing the last journey of Jesus and his students in Jerusalem, only Mark informs us that "Jesus walked ahead" (10, 32; cf. Mat.20, 17 and onions.18, 32), and this short phrase emphasizes the loneliness of Jesus. And in the story about how Jesus reassured a storm, Mark has a short phrase that other authors of the Gospels. "And he sleptaft on the heads "(4, 38). And this little bargain revives the picture to our gaze. You can not doubt that these small details are explained by the fact that Peter was a living witness of these events and now saw them again with mental eyes.

5) Realism and simplicity of presentation brand appear in the style of its Greek letter.

a) His style is noted by careful processing and gloss. Mark tells like a child. To one fact, he adds another fact by tying them only with the Union "and". In the Greek original, the third chapter of the Gospel of the brand, he cites sequentially one after another 34 main and pressing proposals, starting by their union "and", with one sense verb. That is how diligent child says.

b) Mark loves the words "immediately" and "immediately." They are found in the Gospel of about 30 times. Sometimes the story say "flowing." The story of the same Mark rather does not flow, but rapidly rushing, not by passing breathing; And the reader sees the events described as vivid, as if they are present at them.

c) Mark loves to use the historical presentation of the verb, speaking of the past event, he talks about him in the present time. "Hearing this, Jesus he speaksthey: not healthy have a need for a doctor, but sick "(2, 17)." When approached Jerusalem, to Viffagia and Viph, to Mount Eleon, Jesus separatetwo students of their own and he speakshim: Enter the village that is right in front of you ... "(11, 1.2)." And immediately when he still said, comesJudas, one of the twelve "(14, 49). This is a real historical, characteristic of both Greek and Russian, but inappropriate, for example, in English, shows us how the events in the mind of Mark, as if everything happened in his eyes .

d) Very often he leads the very Aramaic words that Jesus pronounced. Daughters Jair Jesus says: "Talifa-kuoII! "(5, 41). He says deaf tie-speaking: Effafa(7, 34). Dar God is "Corvan"(7, 11); In the Garden of Garden, Jesus says: "ABVA,Father "(14, 36); on the cross he shouts: "Elau, Elau, Sava-Chfani Lamma!"(15, 34). Sometimes the voice of Jesus sounded again in the ears of Peter and he could not resist from passing the brand all the same words that Jesus said.

The most important gospel

Will not be unfair if we call the gospel of the brand the most important gospel. We will do well, if you are lovingly and diligently study the earliest, from our disposal of the Gospels, in which we again heard the Apostle Peter.

Start of the narration (mar. 1.1-4)

Mark begins his story about Jesus from afar - not from the birth of Jesus, not even from John the Baptist in the desert. He begins a narrative from the visions of the ancient prophets, in other words, he begins with deep antiquity, with the presenters of God.

Stoics also believed in the plan set by God. "All Divine," said Mark Azeri, "Providence permeated. Everything comes from the sky." From this we can also learn something.

1) They say, the youth "peers far ahead", God's plans also go far ahead. God develops his plans and implements them. History is not a random kaleidoscope of non-interconnected events, but a developing process, where God sees the ultimate goal at the very beginning.

2) We are inside this developing process and therefore we can promote it or disturb. In a certain sense, this great honor is to help in great deal, but also to see the ultimate goal is also a great advantage. Life would have changed much if we were, instead of languishing on some distant and real, unattainable goal, did everything in our power to bring this goal to bring.

In his youth, because I myself did not sing,

I didn't even try to write songs

I did not make a young trees along the roads,

Because I knew - they grow very slowly.

But now, we are melted for years

I know that noble, holy business -

Put a tree that will water the other

Or fold the song that the other will sing.

The goal will never be achieved if no one will work to achieve it.

Led by Mark Quote from the prophets of meaningful. "I am sending an angel of mine before your face, which will prepare your way to you."This is a quote from Mal.3, 1. In the book of the Prophet Malachi, this is a threat. In the time of Malachi, the priests were poorly performed their duties: they sacrificed animals with physical disabilities and unfasteless second-time, and looked at the service in the temple as a boring duty. The Messenger of God should have cleared worship in the temple before the anointer of God comes to Earth. Thus, the arrival of Christ was the purification of life. And the world needed such a cleansing. Seneca called the Rome of the "messenger pit of all vices." Juvenal spoke of Rome as a "dirty drainage pipe, which flows down the disgusting garbage of all Syrian and Akhai vvices." Where Christianity comes, it brings with me cleansing.

This can be shown on facts. Bruce Barton tells how he had to, during the fulfillment of the first important task on the field of journalism, writing a series of articles on the evangelist Billy Sandy. Three cities were chosen. "I spoke with merchants," Bruce Barton writes, "and they told me that during the meetings and after them people fit and paid the accounts so old that they had already written off for a long time." Then Bruce Barton visited the Chairman of the House Chamber of Commerce, in which Billy Sandy was visited over three years. "I do not belong to any church," said the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, and I never went to church, but what I will tell you. If you were now offered to invite Billy Sandi and if I knew about his activities, then I know now, and if the church could have been able to get the money necessary for this, I would take this money for half a day in people who do not go to church. Billy Sandy took away from here eleven thousand dollars, but Circus arrives here and takes The same in one day and does not leave anything. He left after himself a different moral atmosphere. " Bruce Barton was going to expose, but he had to give him a tribute to the cleansing strength of Christian gospel in his articles.

When Billy Graham preached in Shreveport in the state of Louisiana, the sale of alcohol decreased to forty percent, and the sale of the Bibles increased by three hundred percent. One of the results achieved during its preaching in Seattle formulated very simply: "Several marriage processes are suspended." In Greensboro, in the state of North Carolina, such a result was stated: "He had an impact on the entire social structure of the city."

One of the great examples of the effectiveness of Christianity is the case with a rebellion on the Bounty ship. The rebels landed on Pitcairn Island. There were nine people, yes, Aborigines lived on the island - six men, ten women and a girl fifteen years old. After one of the rebels succeeded in the manufacture of raw alcohol, they have suffered a tragedy - the rebels died all except one, Alexander Smith. Smith came across the Bible accidentally, read it and decided to create a society based on the Bible teaching with the Aborigines. The American warship ranked in twenty years to the island found on the island in the full sense of the word christian community. There was no prison on the island, because there was no offense; There was no hospital because there were no patients; There was no crazy house, because there was no crazy; There were also no illiterates there, and anywhere in the world, the life and property of a person was not in such safety as there. Christianity cleared society.

Where it is allowed to come Christ, the anti-shirt effect of the Christian faith cleans society from the moral poison and makes it clean.

John the Baptist came preaching the baptism of repentance.Jews were familiar with ritual ablutions. They are described in detail in A lion.11 - 15. "Jew," said Turrtullian, - washed every day, because he is defiled every day. " Symbolic flushing and purification constituted the inseparable part of the Jewish ritual. The pagan was considered unclean, because he never observed a single rule of the Jewish law. Because the pagan became prosethat is, he applied to the Jewish religion, he had to go through three ritual. First, undergo circumcisionfor it was a distinctive admission of chosen people; Secondly, it was supposed to be brought victim, for it was believed that he needed to be cleaned and only blood could clean the sin; And thirdly, he should have taken epiphany, what symbolized the cleansing of it from all the very bad life. It is quite natural, therefore, that baptism was not simply a sprinkling water, and the immersion of the whole body into the water.

The baptism was known to the Jews, but amazing in the baptism of John the Baptist was that John, being Jews, offered Judah to undergo a rite, which seemed to be exposed only to the pagans. John the Baptist made a grand discovery: to be Judea by origin does not mean to be a member of the people chosen by God; Jews may be just in the same position as the pagan; God needs not a Jewish way of life, but a purified life. Baptism always binds to confession. With every appeal to God, a person must confess his faith to three different personalities.

1) a person must a confession before him.Such is the nature of man that we close our eyes to what we do not want to see, and, above all, to our sins. Someone told about the first step of one person to grace. Looking at the morning while shaving in the mirror on his face, he suddenly said: "You, a dirty little rat!" And from that day he began to become another person. Leaving his house, the prodigal son, of course, believed that he had a wonderful and enterprising character. But before making the first step on the way back, he had to take a good look at himself and say: "I'll get up, I will go to my father and I will tell him:" Father! I'm not worthy to be called your son " (Onion.15, 18.19).

The hardest thing in the world to see myself in my face; And take the first step to repentance and to the right relationship with God - it means to recognize your sin himself.

2) a person must confess to those who have caused evil.It is not enough to tell God that we repent, if we do not recognize our guilt before those who we offended and disappeared. Before the celestial barriers can be removed, human should be removed. Once a parishionanka came to the priest of one community of the East African Church and confessed that she had quarreled with her husband, also a member of this community. "It was not necessary to immediately come and confess in this quarrel; it was necessary to first recover and already laterto come and confess, "the priest replied her. Very often, it even happens that confessing before God is easier than before people. But whoever does not humiliate, cannot be forgiven.

3) a person must confess God.The end of the pride is the beginning of forgiveness. Only when a person says: "I sinned," God can say: "I goodbye." Forgiveness receives not the one who wants to speak with God on an equal limit, but the one who worsens his knees in a robust repentance and says, overcoming his shame: "God, be gracious to me, sinner."

Tsarist Bulletin (Mar. 1.5-8)

It is clear that the preaching of John the Baptist had a great impact on Jews, because they came to crowds to listen to him and take baptism from him. Why did John have such an impact on his people?

1) It was a man who lived as he taught. Not only his words, but his whole life was a protest. This protest against the modern lifestyle is expressed by three points.

a) He lived not like others - he lived in the desert. Between the center of Judea and the Dead Sea lies one of the most terrible deserts in the world. This is a limestone desert; curved and fed; Hot cliffs buzz under their feet, as if under them a huge hot oven. This desert extends to the Dead Sea and then descends the terrible sheer ledges to the sea. In the Old Testament it is sometimes called Jeembamon, what means devastation.John was not a city inhabitant. He was a man accustomed to the desert, to her loneliness and desolation. He was the man who had the opportunity to hear the voice of God.

b) He dressed not like others - he wore special clothes from camel hair and leather belt. Such clothes wore Elijah (4 CAR.1.8). [In English, the translation of the verse sounds like this: "The person he carries the owner and the leather belt around his hitch" - approx. translator]. When looking at John, people had to think not about modern fashionable red-bone speakers, but to remember the prophets of the distant past, who lived very simply and avoiding the soft and express luxury, which kills the soul.

c) he eaten not as others - he ate acrides and wild honey. Interestingly, both words can be bobbly to interpret: acrides - it may be insects (locusts), which the law allowed (A lion.11, 22.23), but it may be the grade of beans or nuts, which fought the poorest. Honey - it can be honey, which collect wild bees, but it can be some sweet woody and wood juice, which was obtained from the bark of some trees. It does not matter that these words are indicated, but John eats very simple.

That was John the Baptist, and people listened to the words of such a person. About Carleyle, someone said that he preached the gospel of silence in twenty volumes. Many people proclaim the fact that they deny their lives; Having decent bank accounts, they preach that it is not necessary to accumulate terrestrial treasures. Others, living in luxury homes, preach the bliss of poverty. But John his life was preached by the same as the words, and therefore people listened to him.

2) His sermon was an effective also because he told people that they knew in the depths of the heart and what they expected soul.

a) Jews had a saying: if Israel at least one day will accurately comply with the law of God, the kingdom of God will come. Calling people to repentance, John the Baptist simply led them to the conclusion they had long had to do what they thought in the depths of the soul. Once Plato said that education lies not in the message to people of new things, it is to remove from their memory what they already know. The strongest thing per person acts such a message and such a sermon who is addressed to His consciousness. Such a sermon becomes irresistible if it utters a person who has moral law to this.

b) The people of Israel knew well that during the three hundred years the voice of the prophecy was silent. Jews were waiting for the Genuine Word of God and they heard him in the preaching of John the Baptist. Professionalism is important in each profession. The famous violinist says that barely Tuscanini approached the conductor, as the orchestra felt that the authority of the conductor was poured on it. We ourselves immediately find out a truly experienced doctor. We immediately feel a speaker who knows his subject well. John came from God and heard him immediately understood it.

3) The preaching of John was an effective also because he himself was extremely modest and humble. He was judged about himself that he was not fit to be a slave, unleashed to unleash the belt Sandalia Messiah. Sandals were ordinary leather ties, fixed on foot with ribbons, passed between her fingers. The roads at that time were not covered with asphalt and in dry weather they were piles of dust, and in the rainy - rivers of the mud. Remove sandals was a job slave. John did not require anything for himself, and everything for Christ, whose arrival he proclaimed. His self-care, his humble submission, his complete self-esteem, his perfect immersion in the sermon forced people to listen to him.

4) His sermons and his message rendered an action because he pointed to something and for someone who was higher than him. He spoke to people that he baptizes them with water, but that the one who will be baptized by the Holy Spirit will come. And the water, he said, can only clean the body of a person, and the Holy Spirit is his life, his own heart. Dr. J. Jeffrey cites a very interesting example. When you want to call someone through the switch, the telephonist often tells you: "a minute, now I will try to connect you," and connecting, it disappears at all and leaves you to speak directly with the person you need. John the Baptist does not seek to become a center of attention - he seeks to connect people with those who are higher and stronger than him, and people listened to him, because he stated not on himself, but on the one that was needed by everyone.

Decision Day (Mar. 1, 9-11)

Each thinking person has the History of the Baptism of Jesus causes problems. John's baptism was the baptism of repentance, intended for those who repent in their sins and wished to express their determination to end them. And what attitude was the baptism of Jesus? Didn't he be sinless and did not have such a baptism of unnecessary and inappropriate towards him? For Jesus, this baptism had the following four meanings:

1) it was the moment decision making. He spent thirty years in Nazareth, devotionally fulfilling his everyday work and his duty towards house and family. He must have already realized that the time of his speech was: he probably simply waited for some kind of sign. The appearance of John the Baptist became this sign. Now, he saw, the moment came when he had to make the task assigned to him.

In the life of each person the moments are coming when it is necessary to make a decision and when the decision is made or rejected. Decide - it means to succeed, refuse to make a decision or to evade him, then fail. As Lowell said:

"For each person and the people, one day comes the moment when you need to make a solution and choose.

In the struggle of truth with a lie, choose the side of good or side of the evil.

This is a great choice; New God's Messiah,

offers each flowering or wilting,

And the choice is made once and forever between darkness and light. "

In the life of each person the moment comes when you need to make a decision. Shakespeare about this so:

"There is a tide in a person's life

And, if you go through the big water, you will find good luck.

We will miss - and the whole life path will be held on Mels and in Nevzpects. "

Life in which it is not decided - in vain spent, vain, unsatisfied and often tragic life. John Ocsenham saw her like this:

"Every person is open

Ways and roads;

High soul chooses a high path,

And the low shower gropes low,

And in the middle, on foggy plains,

The rest carries there and here. "

Life in which there is no certainty, can not be happy. When John appeared, Jesus knew that time had come and had to make a decision. Nazaret was a peaceful village, and the house was Mil him, but he answered the call and for the call of God.

2) The baptism of Jesus expressed his unity with the people. He did not need to repent of sins; But the people went to God and he felt the need to take part in this movement. A person who has peace, comfort and wealth can be solidified with the movement that is intended to give the benefit to the depressed, the poor, homeless, emaciated from work. A truly great sense of joy man shows when he participates in some kind of movement not for himself or his personal interests, but for the interests of other people. In Allegoria, John Bunyana Christian, during his trip with an interpreter, arrived at a strictly guarded palace. It took to enter into battle to enter it. The door of the palace was sitting with a black ink from the horns who recorded the names of everyone who dared to attack. Everyone began to go back and then the Christian saw how "some brave man came up to the recording and said:" Write my name, Mr. "When great things are committed, a Christian must come and say:" Please write my name, " For this was what Jesus did when he came to accept baptism.

3) It was for him a moment of approval in the chosen decision. No one leaves her house with a calm heart to go to an unknown way. A person must be quite sure that it comes correctly. Jesus has already decided that he will do next, and now he was waiting for the press of God's approval. In the era of Jesus Jews talked about the so-called Bat countwhat means daughter voice. They believed that there were several heavens, in the top of which, God sends in an impregnable light. In the rare moments of the skies, God speaks, but in their opinion, God was so far that people hear only a distant echo of his voice. To Jesus, the voice of God was crowded directly. From the story, Mark shows that it was a personal experience of Jesus, not intended for the crowd. The voice did not say: "This there is a son of my beloved", as Matthew says (Mat.3, 17). The voice said: "You are my beloved son," referring directly to Jesus. In the act of adoption of baptism, Jesus presented his decision for consideration by God, and this decision was perfectly approved.

4) Baptism was for Jesus the moment of investment into force. At this time, he left the Holy Spirit. Here we are dealing with a specific symbolism. The Holy Spirit descended how the pigeon could take. This is not a random comparison. Dove is a symbol kindness. And Matthew, and Luke tell us about the character of the preaching of John (Mat.3, 7-12; Onion3, 7-13). The mission of John was a mission of secreirs at the root of the tree; The mission of the terrible selection, all-living fire. He arranged condemnation and death, and not good news. The appearance of the spirit of the saint compared to the dove immediately creates a feeling of kindness and softness. He will win, but it will be a victory of love.

Test time (mar. 1,12.13)

Hardly passed the glorious hour of baptism, the struggle with temptations began. Here we are very clear to one point and we cannot pass by. After all, this spirit holy led Jesus to the desert for the test. The very spirit that descended him during baptism, now led him to the test.

In our life it is impossible to avoid temptations. But one is completely clear - temptations are not sent to us in order to bring us to fall; They are sent to us to strengthen our nerves, our mind, our hearts and our souls. They should not destroy us, but to benefit us. They must be trials from which we must come out by the warriors of God. Suppose that this young man is a good football player; He speaks well in the second composition and good deposits are visible; What then will make the team leader? Without a doubt, he will not send him into the third composition, where this young man could play with the cool and not even dare never; And he will send him to play the first team, where the young man will be completely new for him to test and get the opportunity to express himself. Just as temptations - they must give us the opportunity to experience our maturity and strengthen us to fight.

Phrase forty daysno need to understand literally. This turnover of Jews was usually used to express meaning quite a long time. So, for example, it is said that Moses was on the mountain forty days and forty nights (Execution24, 18); Forty days and forty nights were Elijah, riding food given to him angel (3 CAR.19, 8). As we say ten days or soso the Jews used the expression forty daysnot literally, but in the sense for quite a long time.

Jesus sick satan. In ancient'urian satanmeans enemy, rival. Satanhe performed as a prosecutor of people before God. In the same sentence, this word is used in Job. 2, 2 and zat.3, 2.

Satan was supposed to be accused against people. Satan had another title: double. The word is coming from Greek diabosthat in Greek literally means slanderer. It is still a small step from the one who diligently looks tracks everything that can be said against a person, to the one who deliberately and viciously slanders a man before God. This is the greatest, malicious enemy; And the greatest enemy of man.

In other words, there are in this world God and Hisenemy, the enemy of God.Almost inevitably should have happened so that the Satan began to watch first of all as the enemy of God.This is what the meaning of this name is now, who was always for people; Satan is, in essence, all that is directed against God. If we turn to the New Testament, we will see what exactly satanor diavilstands for all human diseases and suffering (Onion.13, 16); satanentered Jude, seduced him (Onion.22, 3); We must fight the devil (1 Pet.5, 8; Jac.4, 7); The Acts of Christ broke was the power of Satan (Onion.10, 1-19). Satan is a force opposing God.

This is the whole point of history about temptation. Jesus was supposed to decide how he would perform the task assigned to him. He understood the grandeur in front of him the tasks, but he also realized that he was given a huge force. God told him: "Bring people to my love, love them to death, conquer them with this indestructible love, even if you have to die on the cross." Satan suggested Jesus: "Using your power to harm people; destroy their enemies; conquer the world by force, power and blood." God spoke Jesus: "Establish the Kingdom of Love." Satan offered: "Establish a dictatorship of power." And that day, Jesus had to choose between God and the enemy of God.

Mark finishes his short story about the temptation of two bright strokes.

1) And (he) was with beasts.Leopard, Bear, Kaban and Jackal were inhabited in the desert. Often researchers say that this bright touch somewhat complements the common gloomy picture. But maybe it is not at all. Maybe this item says that the animals were friends of Jesus. In the dreams of Jews about the golden age, which was supposed to step after the coming of the Messiah, was also a dream that the enmity between the man and the beast ceases. "And I will make a union for them with field beasts and with the birds of heaven and with the reptiles on the ground" (OS. 2,eighteen). "Then the wolf will live with a lamb, and Bars will lie along with the goat ... And the baby will play on the Nosta aspid, and the child will last his hand on the nest of the snake. They will not make evil and harm on the whole holy grief of my" (IP.11, 6 - 9). Maybe here we see the first anticipation of the charms of peaceful coexistence of a person and the beast. Maybe here the picture of how the beasts before people learned their friend and their king.

2) Angels served him.In minutes, the test man always gets divine support. When Elisha and his servant was surrounded by the enemies in Dopharym and, it seemed, they had no exit, Elisha opened his eyes to the young servant, and he saw around his horses and chariot fiery belonging to God (4 CAR.6, 17). Jesus was not left alone in his battle - and we are also not alone.

Good news (mar. 1,14.15)

In this brief statement of the gospel of Jesus, three great words are contained, the main in Christianity.

1) Gospel (good news).Jesus came, first of all, in order to bring the good news to people. If we follow in the New Testament Word evangemongood news, Gospel, we can understand something from its content.

a) it is gospel truths (Gal.2, 5; Countfifteen). Before the arrival of Jesus, people could only look for God to look for God. "Oh, if I knew where to find it!" - appealed by Job (Job.23, 3). Mark Aurelius says that the soul can only see it unclear, while it consumes a Greek word for seeing to see things through the water. With the arrival of Christ, people can clearly see what God is: no longer need to guess and search in dotmakes.

b) it is gospel hope (count.1, 23). The antique world dominated pessimistic moods. Seneca spoke about "our helplessness in the most necessary things." People were defeated in the struggle for virtue. The arrival of Jesus brought hope to the desperate hearts.

c) it is gospel mira (Eph.6, 15). A person carries a punishment - a split personality. In a person, the beast and an angel are strangely mixed and connected. They say that once asked such a question a lonely brushed philosophy-pessimist Schopengaer: "Who are you?" He answered it: "I would like you to tell me it." And Robert Burns said about himself: "My life reminds me of a destroyed temple. What is the power, what proportions in some parts! What are the neo-behold bars, which rages of the ruins in others!" All the misfortune of man from that occurs that he simultaneously strives for sin and virtue. The coming of Jesus connects this split personality into one. A man won over his opposing "I" the same victory, which Jesus Christ won.

d) it is gospel provision (Eph.3, 6). It will be fair to say that people have always been waiting for the god threats, not promises. All non-Christian religions know God, requiring and asking, only Christianity behaved to people about God, ready to give more than we ask.

e) it is gospel immortality (2 Tim.1, 10). For pagans, life was dear to death, a man, in essence, was a dying man, and the new Jesus brought us the good news about what we are on the way to life, and not to death.

e) it is gospel salvation (Eph.1, 13). This salvation is not just something negative; It includes positive. It does not just give exemption from punishment and getting rid of the past sin; It gives a victorious to live and defeat sin. Jesus brought people truly good news.

2) Confess.Repentance is not such a simple thing as it seems sometimes. Greek word methaneliterally means change the image of thoughts. The person tends to mix two things - regret the consequences of the perfect sin and regret about sin. Many express extremely regret because of the mass of troubles, which they brought them to sin. But if they were sure that they could avoid these consequences, they would make it once again. They hate not sin, but its consequences. True repentance means that a person not only regrets the consequences of their sin and others who perfect with the sin itself, but also hates sin himself. Once upon a time, the wise Montaen wrote in his biography: "Children should teach hate the vice because of his essence, so that they not only escape to do it, but also hated with all his heart; so that one thought about him could cause disgust in them, in what It would not show form. " Rasskowning means that a person in love with his sin begins to hate him for absolute sinfulness.

3) and finally - true."Believe," says Jesus, "in good news." Believe in the good news - it means just to believe Jesus for the word, believing that God is exactly what he told us about him; Believe that God loves the world so much, which will bring any sacrifice to bring us back to yourself; This means to believe that everything that sounds in our opinion is not quite plausible - truth.

Jesus chooses friends (Mar. 1,16-20)

As soon as Jesus decided and identified his image of action, he began to look for people for execution. The leader should always start with something. He collects around himself a group of like-minded people, in whose hearts he would have found a response for his ideas. Mark shows us Christ in the literal sense of the word to lay the foundation of his kingdom and calling for their first followers. There were many fishermen in Galilee. The great Jewish historian Joseph Flavius, the former one time by Galilean's governor, says that at that time in the waters of the lake, three hundred fifty fish boats were swimming. Simple people in Palestine rarely ate meat, perhaps no more than once a week. Fish was their main food (Onion.11, 11; Mat.7, 10; Mar. b,30-44; Onion.24, 42). Usually the fish was salty, because there were no money for the transport of fresh fish. Fresh fish was one of the main delicacies in such large cities as Rome. The name of the cities located on the shores of Gennisret Lake, shows what an important place was occupied by fisheries. Vifsaidaso house of fishermen; Taricha(in Russian. Bible - magdala) - Salted Pisces, and just there the fish was kept for export in Jerusalem and even in Rome. Slashing fish and trading Salt fish occupied an important place in Galilee.

Fishermen used two types of networks, and they are mentioned or implied in the Gospels. One type was called saguea kind of trawl, which descended the boat from the stern and which was so balanced that stood right in the water. The vessel moved forward and dragged the network in four end and tightened them, making out of the network as it were for a big bag, which moved in the water, captured the fish, another type of network used by Simon Peter and Andrey, was called amfibestron He was much smaller in Formizont, and he was thrown into the water with his hands like a nemid.

It is quite natural that people chosen by Jesus as their followers are of great interest to study.

1. It should be noted who were they. These were ordinary people. They did not study in schools and universities, they did not take place from priests or from aristocrats; They were neither scientists nor rich. These were fishermen, in other words, these were ordinary people. No one ever believed in ordinary people like Jesus. George Bernard show said once: "I do not feel any feeling for the working class, except for one: to abolish it and replace prudent people." In the novel of "Patricia", John Golsuorussi, one of the heroes, Miltown, says: "Mobile! What a disgust for her I feel! I hate her voice, and one look at her face - it is so ugly, so insignificant!" Once in irritation, Carlisle stated that twenty-seven million people live in England - and most of them fools! Jesus did not think so. Abraham Lincoln said:

"God must have loved ordinary people - he created them so much." Jesus as it were said: "Give me twelve ordinary people, and with them, if they are betrayed by me, I will change the world." A person should think more about that Jesus can do from him, and not that he himself represents himself.

2. It should be noted what they were doingat the moment when Jesus called them. They performed the usual work: caught fish and reinforced networks. "I am not a prophet," said Amos, "and not the Son of the Prophet; I was a shepherd and collecting Sicomora." But the Lord took me from sheepand the Lord told me: "Go, prophesy to the people to my Israel" (AM.7, 14.15). Calls of God can come to a person not only when it is in the house of God or in solitude, but also directly during the everyday work. As the Kipling of the Scottish engineer McEndrew expressed this:

"From the connecting flange to the guide spindle

Everywhere I see your hand, oh god!

Predestination - in work

Your connecting rod! ".

A person living in a world in which God everywhere cannot not meet him.

3. It should be noted how Jesus called them.Call Jesus was: "Go for me!" This does not mean that that day he saw them for the first time. They, beyond any doubt, stood in the crowd and listened to him, they stayed standing and talking when the crowd had long been separated; They felt the charm of his presence and the attractive strength of his eyes. Jesus did not tell them: "I have a theological system and I would like you to study her; - or, I have some theories and I would like you to think about them; - or, - I have Ethical system and I would like to discuss it with you. " He told them: "Go for me!" It all started with a personal impression that he produced on them; It all started with the exciting heart of the feeling, which generates unshakable loyalty. This, however, does not mean that there are no such people who understand Christianity with the mind. For most of us follow Christ - it's like falling in love. They say, "that we admire people with the mind, but we love them crazy." Everything happens, because everything is so much, and we are as we are. "And when I will be ascended from the earth," Jesus said, - I will attract everyone " (Ivan.12, 32). In the enormous majority of cases, a person follows Christ for Christ because Jesus said, but because of the one who is Jesus.

4. And finally, it should be noted, that Jesus suggested them. He offered them a task.He called them not on peace, but for the ministry. Someone said that every person it is important to have "the case in which he could inves his life." And because Jesus called his people not on comfortable peace and not on lethargic idleness: he called them to fulfill the task to which they had to spend their whole life, and on which they had to burn, but at the end to die for him and for their sake fellow. He called them to fulfill the task, and they can achieve something, only giving themselves entirely to him and their neighbors.

Jesus begins his campaign (Mar. 1,21.22)

The narrative brand turns into a logical and natural sequence. In the appearance of John the Baptist, Jesus saw the appeal of God. He was baptized, received the seal of God's approval and was covered with the power of God to perform the tasks assigned to him. He was the temptation of the devil and chose his way. He chose his people to have a small circle of related souls and to record his teachings in their hearts. And now he had to go out his campaign. A person who has a message from God, quite naturally had to go with him to the church, where the people of God gather. And that was what Jesus did. He began his ministry in the synagogue.

Between the synagogue and the church, what we know today, there are certain differences.

a) the synagogue served mainly learning goals.Worship in the synagogue consisted only of three parts: prayers, reading the Word of God and clarification of the read. There was no music, nor singing, nor sacrifices. Can be said: the place worshipand sacrificewas temple;the synagogue was a place exercisesand instructions. The synagogue provided a very big impact on the life of the Jews, because the temple was only one, and the law it was said that everywhere where at least ten Jews live, there should be a synagogue. A person who wanted to preach a new teaching, completely naturally had to preach him in the synagogue.

b) the synagogue gave the opportunity to bring such a doctrine to people. There were certain employees in the synagogue. First, the head - head of the Synagogue. He was responsible for managing the business of synagogues and for holding services. There were people who were collecting and distributed donations. Every day gathered donations with money and products from those who could afford it. Then it was distributed between the poor: the poorest gave food for fourteen meals a week. There was so-called hazzan, the man who is named in the Bible priestthe responsible for the storage and issuance of sacred scrolls with the Scripture, for the purity in the synagogue, for the time and in a timely manner in silver pipes, arranged the offensive of Saturday, for the initial training of community children. But the synagogue did not have a permanent priest or teacher. When people were going to serve in the synagogue, the head of the synagogue could call any knowledge of the text from the Bible in the Scriptures and comment on it. There was nothing similar to a professional priest at all in the synagogue. That is why Jesus and was able to start his ministry in synagogues. The opposition has not yet acquired a hostile nature. He was known as a person who has something to tell people; And that is why the synagogue of each community represented him with the department with which he could instruct people and contact them. But when Jesus taught in the synagogue, the method and spirit of his teachings were perceived like a new revelation. He taught not as taught the scribes, connoisseurs of the law. And who are these books? The most sacred thing in the world for Jews was torah, law.The essence of the law was the Ten Commandments, but under the law they understood the first five books of the Old Testament, the Pentateuch, as they are called. In the representation of the Jews, these five books wore an absolutely divine character. Jews believed that these five books were given by Moses God himself. The law was absolutely sacred and completely obligatory. Jews said: "The one who declares that torahnot from God, there is no place in the world of the coming. "" Who claims that Moses wrote at least one verse himself, according to his understanding, he rejects and despises the Word of God. "If torahreally so sacred, then two things flow out of it. First, it must be the highest norm of faith and life; And secondly, it should be all that is needed in order to regulate and direct life. And in this case, Torah, firstly, need carefully and thoroughly study; And secondly, in torethe great comprehensive principles of life are set out, and if it sets out norms and guidelines for alllife, it is necessary to identify and make everything available to all that it is contained implicitly implied, although not directly formulated. Great general laws should become norms and rules, approved by Jews. And so, in order to fulfill this study and make all the necessary conclusions and conclusions, there was a whole class of scientists. They were the scribes, the connoisseurs of the law. The greatest of them were title rabbi. The following three tasks were assigned to the scribes.

1. The scribes were supposed to withdraw from the great moral principles set out in the Torah, norms and rules to every possible in life. It is quite obvious that such a task could never be fulfilled: all the time new and new life situations arose. The Jewish religion began with the establishment of great moral laws, and ended with an infinite set of rules and rules. It began as religion, and ended as a system of legality.

2. The scribes were supposed to transmit this law to others and derived from it the rules and teach them. These derived and extracted norms and rules have never been recorded; they are known as Oral law.Although he has never been recorded, he was considered even more mandatory than the written law. From the generation to the generation he was taught by memory and studied him by heart. A good student had to be a memory similar to "a well, lined with lime so that no drop disappears."

3. The scribes should have decisions and judgments on specific cases; And, it is quite natural that almost every particular case required the creation of a new law.

Well, what did the teachings of Jesus differ significantly from the teachings of the scribes? He taught, relying on his personal power and power. No scribe has either endured a decision relying on his opinion. They always started like this: "There is a theory that ..." and then led all authoritative sources. By making any statement, they always supported him quotes from one, another, the third famous legist of the past. And finally, they endured their judgment. How different from them Jesus! When he said, he said as if he didn't need any authoritative sources, except for themselves. He spoke completely independently. He did not give any authoritative sources and did not quote the scribes. The tone of power and power sounded in his voice made an impression on every person.

Victory over the forces of evil (mar. 1.23-28)

The words of Jesus stolen people in the synagogue, actions and acts struck them as thunder. In the synagogue there was a man who was obsessed with an unclean spirit, which caused a mess, and Jesus healed him.

In all the Gospels we celebrate people who are obsessed with an unclean spirit and those who are in the authority of demons or demons. What does this lies? Jews and, of course, the entire antique world firmly believed in demons and demons. As Garnak was put on: "The whole world and the surrounding atmosphere were full of demons; they dominated not only in idolatry, but also in all forms and stages of life. They sat on the thrones, they walked around the cradle. The earth was literally hell." Dr. A. Rendl Short leads the fact that the antique world believed in the demons. In many ancient cemeteries, skulls were found with traces of trepanation, in other words, the hole was drilled in them. On one cemetery of one hundred and twenty skulls, six were with traces of trepanation. Considering that surgical instruments were not enough, it can be seen that it was a difficult operation. In addition, the state of the bones of the skull shows that the operations were held during a person's life. The size of the opening shows that it was too small to have some physical or surgical value; It is also known that the disc dice removed during the operation was wore on the neck as an amulet. Such an operation was done to give a demon with the opportunity to leave the human body. If the then surgeons agreed to make such operations, and people were ready to subjected to such operations, then faith in obsession by demons was to be very strong.

General for demons Name mazcikinso he who hurts. Thus, demons are evil creatures that have sought to cause humans. A man who believed that he was obsessed with demons or demon, "aware of his existence and at the same time the existence of another creature, prompting and guiding it from the inside." Having met Jesus, obsessed without demons often screamed: they knew that Jesus was the Messiah that the reign of the Messiah was the end of all demons and demons. At that time, there were many demons' spellcasters claiming that they were able to cast out demons. This faith was so strong and real that about 340 in the Christian church was even a special order of perfumes. But the difference between Jesus from various belligators of the demons, it was that ordinary Jewish and pagan belliers of demons used complex magic spells and rites, Jesus expelled demons from people with one clear, simple and powerful word. Before no one ever had anything like that. The power and power were neither in chars, nor in the formula, nor in the spell, nor in the complex ritual; Power and power were in Jesus itself, and it was hit people.

And what can we say about this? Paul Turney writes in the book "Cases from the Practice of the doctor": "Without a doubt, many doctors in the fight against diseases feel that they are not the most passive, but a smart and inventive enemy." Dr. Rendl Short came in an experienced way to the conclusion that "earthly incidents, in essence, moral catastrophes, wars and evil deeds, physical disasters and diseases, may be part of the big battle, which the strengths in the way of those that we see in Book Job: Devilish malice on one side and divine restraint on the other. " This problem cannot be solved simply and definitely.

Miracle on acquaintance (mar. 1.29-31)

Everything that Jesus spoke and did in the synagogue was extremely noteworthy. When the service in the synagogue ended, Jesus went with his friends to Simon Peter's house. According to Jewish custom, the main Saturday Trapez was performed immediately after the service in the synagogue, at six o'clock, that is, at 12 o'clock in the afternoon (the Jewish day began at 6 am and the watch was considered from this moment). Jesus could well take advantage of his right to get a vacation after an exciting and tedious event during the service in the synagogue; But again the challenge of his strength and power was abandoned, and he again began to spend his strength and time for others. This miracle tells us something about three people.

1. We will learn something about Jesus. He did not need the audience at which he could demonstrate his power and strength; He was also ready to heal people in a narrow home circle, as among the big crowd in the synagogue. He never refused to help people; The needs of other people he set up its need to relax. But, first of all, we see here, as we have already seen it in the episode in the synagogue, the uniqueness of the healing methods of Jesus. In the era of Jesus there were many corders of demons, but they needed complex magical spells, spells and formulas, and even magic devices. In the synagogue, Jesus said only one power supply and healing came. And here again the same. The mother-in-law Simon Peter "lay in hot" as they say in Talmud. Half was, and still remains a widespread disease in that part of Galilee. There is even a way to treat it in Talmud. The iron knife tied a pigtail to the thorns. The following days repeated the Scriptures. First day Exchange 3,2.3, V. second - Ex.3, 4 and finally Exchange 3.5.After that, they uttered a certain magic formula and it was believed that healing was made. Jesus completely ignored this set of popular magic accessories. One gesture and a word, filled with unique power and strength, he healed a woman. In the previous passage, the Greek word was used save sleeptranslated power,a Word exussiathe Greeks were determined by unique power in combination with a unique force, and it was this that Jesus possessed and it was applied in the house of Simon Peter. Paul Turney writes in his book: "My patients often tell me:" I admire patience, with whom you listen to everything I tell you. "But this is not only patience, it is also an interest." Jesus saw in a moon committed not a means to enhance his prestige. To provide people with help - in this he saw not tiring. He helped unconsciously because he felt a special interest in the way, who needed his help.

2. From episode, we will learn something about pupils. They just recently met him, but they had already begun to contact Jesus with all their problems. The mother-in-law Simon was sick, the whole house was in the disorder, and there was nothing more natural for the disciples, how to tell Jesus about this. Paul Turney tells how he made the greatest discovery in his life. He often visited one Christian priest who never let him go, not praying at first with him. Tourne fields struck the extreme simplicity of the elder prayers. They seemed to continue the intimate conversation, which he continuously led with Jesus. "When I returned home," Paul Turney continues, "I talked about it with my wife and we together asked God to give us the same close friendship with Jesus, what was the old priest. And since then, Jesus became the center of my attachment and my attachment. constant companion. He rejoices what I do (cf. Eccles.9, 7) and it worries it. He is a friend with whom I can discuss everything that happens in my life. He shares my joy and my pain, my hopes and my fears. He is present and then when the patient speaks with me, opening the depths of his heart, listening to him with me, making it better than I myself could do it. And when the patient leaves, I can talk about it with him. "This is the whole essence of Christian life. As soon as he is in the hymn:" Contact it in prayer to God. "So early, the students have learned him In their vitality, to handle all their problems towards Jesus and ask him for help.

3. The episode tells us something about successful Simon Peter. As soon as she recovered, as she immediately began to take care of the needs of others. She used his recovery for a new ministry. One famous Scottish family had a motto: saved to ministry. Jesus helps us so that we can help others.

The first crowds (mar. 1,32-34)

Perfect Jesus in Copernaum could not be hidden. The appearance of such a great new strength and power could not be maintained secret. And because in the evening, Simon Peter's house was surrounded by crowds of people who were looking for a touch of Jesus. People waited until the evening, because the law banned to wear any cargo in the city on Saturday (Wed. Ier.17, 24). In those days, of course, there were no hours - neither pocket, nor hand or desktops. Saturday lasted from 6 am to 6 hours of afternoon; According to the law it was believed that Saturday was over and the day passed if three stars appeared in the sky. And so the residents of Capernaham were waiting for the sun and the stars will break out in the sky, and they came, carrying their patients to Jesus, and he healed them.

We have already seen three times how Jesus heals people. At first he healed in the synagogue, then he healed the patient in his friends's house, and now he heals on the street. Jesus understood the request of everyone. About Dr. Johnson said that if anyone got into trouble, he could be confident in his support. And wherever the problems arose, Jesus was ready to consume his strength and power. He did not fit with the hypocrium, nor to the person, nor to the place; He clearly understood the universal nature of the requirements of people.

People flocked to Jesus crowds because they recognized in it a person who can make ambitious things. To speak, clarify, many could lecture and preach; And he alone not only spoke, but also did. Someone said that if a person can make a mousetrap better than the other, people will drive to his house the path, even if he lives in more often. People need a person who can do business. Jesus could and may make great acts today.

But here the tragedy begins. Crowd came, but they came because they needed something from Jesus. They came not because the new vision is narrowled; Ultimately, they only wanted to use it in their own interests. This is exactly almost everyone wants from God and His Son. For one prayer, ascending to God in the Epoch of prosperity, accounts for a thousand prayers in the era of disaster. Many people who never prayed when they shone the sun, they begin to pray when the cold wind blends.

Someone said that people are looking at religion "as a ambulance service, and not as an advanced line on the living space." About religion people remember only in a crisis moment. They begin to remember God only when they fall into a difficult position, or when life sends them to knockout. Everyone must contact Jesus, because only he can give us what is needed for life, but if such an appeal and the receiving gifts do not call in us with respect and gratitude, it means that something is tragically impudent. Do not look at God only as a useful support in difficult days, it needs to love and remember every day of our life.

Hour of rest and appeal to action (mar. 1,35-39)

Already reading the record of what happened in the capernau, we see that Jesus had no time to privacy. But he knew well that he could not live without communicating with God; that if he continues to give to others, he must receive himself; What if he intends to devote himself to serving another, he has to seek spiritual support from time to time. He knew that he could not live without prayer. In a small book called "Exercise in Prayer", Dr. A. D. Benden cites the following definition: "Prayer is a call of the soul to God." Who does not pray - bewiered in an incredible recklessness, refusing "from the possibility of introducing God to their abilities." "In prayer we give the absolute mind of God the opportunity to feed our spiritual forces." Jesus knew this; He also knew that if he wants to meet people, he must first meet with God. If Jesus needed prayer, then how much more is she?!

But he was found and where he prayed. Jesus could not close the door in front of them. The writer Rosa Makola somehow said that in his life she needs only one thing - his own room. Namely, I was never at Jesus. One major doctor said that the task of medicine consists "sometimes in healing, often - in alleviating suffering, and always - in consolation." And such a responsibility always lay on Jesus. Someone said that the doctor should "help people live and die," and people constantly live and die. This is already laid in the nature of a person - to try to build fences and walls to find peace and free time for themselves; Jesus never did it. No matter how well he realized his fatigue and exhaustion, he even better realized the urgency of human needs. And so, when the students came after him, he stood up with his knees to take the burden of tasks assigned to him. With the help of prayers, we will never fulfill our tasks; They can only strengthen us to fulfill our work.

Jesus went to the path to preach in Galilee's synagogues. In the gospel of the brand of this missionary journey, one verse is dedicated, but it must have taken many weeks and even months. He walked I. preach and heal.Jesus never shared the following things and actions.

1. He never shared word and business. He never believed that the case was done if it was formulated. He never believed that his task was to only call people to God and to virtue. The formulated task, the call and exhortation always embodied in the case. Fosdic somewhere tells about the student who bought the best books, textbooks and instruments, a special working chair with a stand for books to be more convenient to learn, and then sat down in this chair and fell asleep. A person who speaks a lot, but does nothing, very similar to such a student.

2. He never shared soul and body. There were such trends in Christianity, which the needs of the body did not interest at all. But man is soul and body. And the task of Christianity is to correct the whole person, and not one part of it. This is the Holy True, that a person can die with hunger, live in a hut, live in poverty and suffer from flour, and yet be happy in God; But this does not mean that you need to leave it in the same condition. Christian missionaries take with them backwards not only by the Bible; They bring with them education and medicine, schools and hospitals. To speak quite mistake about social gospel,as if it was some kind of special, some kind of optional, or even some separate part of Christian gospel. Christian gospel is one, and it preaches and works for the benefit of the human body to the same extent as for the benefit of his soul.

3. Jesus never shared earth and heaven. There are people who are so baked about heaven, they forget absolutely about the earthly and become impractical dreamers. But there are also those who so much care about the earthly, they forget about heaven and read only material values for good. Jesus dreamed of time when the will of God will also be embodied on the ground as she is embodied in the sky (Mat.6, 10), when earthly and heaven will be united.

Cleaning lepers (mar. 1.40-45)

No in the New Testament of the disease, which would cause more horror and compassion than pumping. Sending twelve pupils of their own, Jesus commanded them to heal the sick and purify the lepers (Mat.10, 8). The fate of the lease was truly heavy. E. U. M. Masterman writes in his article about pumping in the dictionary of Christ and the Gospels, from which we took most of the information given here: "No disease turns a human being for such many years to such terrible ruins." Let's first consider the facts. There are three types of leprosy.

1. Black or tuberculous pumping, starting with strange lethargy and pains in the joints. Then on the body, especially on the back, symmetric colored spots of the wrong shape appear. They are formed by tubercles, first pink, which then become brown; The skin is thickened. The number of these tubercles is particularly increasing in the folds of the cheeks, nose, lips, forehead. The person's face is changing so much that he loses the human appearance and becomes similar, as the ancients, on Lion or Satire, were expressed. These tubercles are increasing in size, ulcers appear on them and distinguished by disgusting in the smell of pus; The eyebrows fall out, the eyes become widely opened, the voice is stubble, and the breath becomes hoarse because of the ulcers in the voice ligaments. The ulcers are also formed on their hands and legs, and the patient gradually turns into a solid growing ulcer. On average, the disease lasts nine years and ends with a mental disorder, a coma and, finally, death; The patient inspires extreme disgust for people and herself.

2. Anesthetic pumping in the initial stage is the same as black, but the central nervous system is also affected. The affected area loses any sensitivity, and the patient may not even notice this. Even during the burn, he does not feel pain. As the disease develops, the defeat of the first degree causes the appearance of painted spots of irregular shape and blisters. The muscles disappear, the tendons are reduced so much that the hands turn into bird paws, the nails are also deformed. After that, chronic ulcers are formed in the hands, then the patient loses his fingers on their hands and legs and, ultimately, the whole brush of the hands and foot foot. Such a form of illness lasts from twenty to thirty years. This is a kind of terribly slow dying of the body.

3. The third type of leprosy is the most typical of all the combination of signs of black and anasthetic. Without a doubt, during the times of Jesus, there were many lepers in Palestine. From descriptions in the lion. 13 Obviously, in the era of the New Testament for the term leprosyhit also other skin diseases, such as psoriasis,in which the body is covered with white rash. This case is described in the Bible with the words: "... learn, white like snow." Apparently, this term covered and "ringing deprived", which is now widespread in the east. In the book Leviticusused Jewish word scratchtranslated as a leprosy. A B. A lion.13, 47 There is a speech about ulcers (scratched),on clothes, and in A lion.14, 33 speaks of aprote zaraat.at home. Such stains on clothes can be mold: leprosy on houses can be something in kind of dry rot on wood or destructive deprive on the stones. Jewish word scratch, leprosy, apparently was associated in Judean thinking with any crawling skin disease. It is quite natural that in the same state of medicine, during the diagnosis, there was no difference between various skin diseases and was classified as incurable and heavy, not even very dangerous diseases.

Each such skin disease made a sick outcast. He was expelled from human society. He had to live one outside the mill or settlement, walk in crushed clothes, with a uncoated head and with a face closed to the upper lip. While walking, he had to warn others about his dangerous presence of a cry: "Unclean! Uncle!". We see the same picture in the Middle Ages, when the law of Moses acted. The priest in Epitrohili and with a crucifixion in his hands led to the church and read the requiem service. The lepers considered dead, although he was still alive. He had to wear a black dress so that he could identify everything. He had to live in the house of lepers. He could not come to church service, but during his service he could look into the "peephole" of the lepers, cut into the wall; The lepers should have taken out not only physical pain caused by the disease, but also spiritual flour caused by the exception of human society and complete isolation. If ever and was cured ledged - which happened very rarely - he had to undergo a rehabilitation procedure, which is described in A lion. 14. The priest first examined the patient, then she took a cedar tree, a siny thread, Vison and two birds (one of which brought sacrificing over running water) and dodied all this, as well as a living bird, in the blood of a sacrifice of the bird. After that, the living bird was released on the will. The man had to wash himself and wrap his clothes, shave. Seven days later the priest examined him again. He had to shave his head, eyebrows. Certain victims were brought - two Aries and one annual sheep without a vice, three tenths of the Ephes of wheat flour, mixed with a bare and one and one carriage. For the poor, the size of the sacrifice has been reduced. A hand, washed in the blood of the sacrificial animal, the priest concerned the moss of the right ear to purify the patient, the thumb of his right hand and the thumb with the right leg, and then just once with his hand, washed in Elea. After that, they did the last inspection, and if the person turned out to be clean, he was released with a certificate that he was clean.

Here is one of the most expressive portraits of Christ.

1. He did not drive away a person who broke the law. The lepers did not have the right to contact him and talk to him, but Jesus with understanding and sympathy responded to a desperate cry of man.

2. Jesus extended his hand and touched it. He touched a unclean person. But for Jesus he was not unclean, for him it was an ordinary human soul, which was in desperate need.

3. Cleaning and healing a person, Jesus sent him to fulfill the usual ritual rite. Jesus performed the human law and the requirements of human justice. He did not recklessly ignore the accepted norms, but when it was necessary, submitted to them.

In this we see the compound of sympathy, power and wisdom.

Comments (introduction) to the whole book "From Mark"

Comments on chapter 1

"In the Gospel of Mark there is freshness and strength that capture the Christian reader and cause his desire to serve something like the example of his blessed Lord."(August Van Rin)

Introduction

I. Special position in the canon

Since the gospel of the brand is the shortest, and about the ninety percent of its material is also found in Matthew and Luke or both of both, what is his contribution without which we can not do?

First of all, a compressed style of Mark and his journalistic simplicity make it the Gospel of the ideal introduction to the Christian faith. On the new missionary fields, the Gospel of Mark is often the first to transfer to national languages.

However, not only a clear live style, especially acceptable for the Romans and their modern allies, but also the content of the gospel of the brand makes it unique.

Mark mainly concerns the same events that Matthew and Luke, adding several unique to them, but he still has colorful details that are absent from others. For example, he draws attention to how Jesus looked at the disciples, as he was angry and how he walked in front of them on the way to Jerusalem. He is undoubtedly these details from Peter, with whom he was together at the end of the life of the latter. Tradition reads and, probably, it is that the gospel of Mark is essentially memories of Peter. This affected the details of a personal nature, the development of the plot and the obvious additionality of the book. It is generally recognized that Mark was the young men who rang naked (14.51), and that this is his modest signature under the book. (The title of the Gospels was not originally part of the books themselves.) Tradition is obviously true, because John Mark lived in Jerusalem; And if he had not been associated with the gospel, then there would be no reason to bring this small episode.

External testimonies of its authorship Early, pretty good and from different parts of the empire. Dad (about 110 AD) quotes John Elder (probably the Apostle John, although the other tribuncher is not excluded), which indicated that this Gospel wrote Mark, Petra employee. This converges Justin Martyr, Irina, Terertullian, Clement Alexandria and "Antimark Prologue".

The author obviously knew Palestine well, and especially Jerusalem. (The story of the Gornitsa noted in large details than in other Gospels. It is not surprising if the events took place in the house of his childhood!) The Gospel points to the Aramaic situation (Palestine language), an understanding of customs, and the presentation implies close relationship with eyewitness of events. The content of the book corresponds to Peter's sermon plan in the 10th chapter of the Acts of the Apostles.

The legend that Mark wrote the Gospel in Rome is confirmed by the use of more Latin words than others (such words as centurion, census, legion, dinarium, prestoria).

Ten times in NZ mentioned the pagan (Latin) name of our author - Mark, and three times - the combined Jewish-pagan name of John Mark.

Mark - servant or assistant: First Paul, then his cousin Varnava and, according to a reliable legend, Peter to his very death - was the perfect person to write the gospel about the perfect servant.

III. Writing time

The time of writing the Gospel of Mark is discussed even conservative, believers in the Bible, scientists. It is impossible to determine the date with accuracy, but still the time is indicated - until the destruction of Jerusalem.

The legend is divided into the opinion that Mark was recorded by Peter's preaching about the life of our Lord to the death of the apostle (up to 64-68) or after his departure.

In particular, if the Gospel of Mark is the first recorded Gospel, according to today most scientists, the earlier date of writing is needed that Luke can use the Mark material.

Some scientists date the gospel of the brand the beginning of the 50s, but the dating from 57th to the 60th seems more likely.

IV. Purpose of writing and topic

This gospel presented an amazing story about God's perfect servant, our Lord Jesus Christ; A story about who refused to external magnificence of their fame in heaven and took the form of a slave on Earth (FLP. 2.7). This is an unprecedented story about who "... Not for that came to serve him, but to serve and give his soul to redeem many" (MK. 10.45).

If you remember that this perfect servant was not anyone else, like God's son, who voluntarily stuck clothes slave and became a servant to people, then the gospel breaks for us eternal radiance. Here we see the embodied son of God, who lived on Earth as a dependent person.

Everything that he did was completely coordinated with the will of his father, and all his powerful acts were committed in the strength of the Holy Spirit.

Style brand fast, energetic and compressed. He pays more attention to the affairs of the Lord, and not him say; This is confirmed by the fact that he leads nineteen wonders and only four parables.

When studying this gospel, we will strive to find answers to three questions:

1. What does it talk about?

2. What does it mean?

3. What is the lesson in it for me?

For all those who wish to be true and loyal servants of the Lord, this gospel should be a valuable textbook of ministry.

Plan

I. Preparation of servant (1.1-13)

II. Early serving servants in Galilee (1.14 - 3,12)

III. The calling and training of students of the servant (3.13 - 8.38)

IV. Traveling servants in Jerusalem (ch. 9 - 10)

V. Services serving in Jerusalem (ch. 11 - 12)

Vi. Speech of the servant on Mount Eleonskaya (ch. 13)

VII. The suffering and death of the servant (ch. 14 - 15)

VIII. The victory of the servant (ch. 16)

I. Preparation of servant (1.1-13)

A. Forerunner servants prepares the way (1.1-8)

1,1 The topic of the Gospel of Mark - the benefit of the news about Jesus Christ, God's Son.Since the author's goal is to allocate the role of Lord Jesus Christ as servants, he starts not from the genealogion, but from the Savior's public service.

It was announced by the John the Baptist, who herarize the good news.

1,2-3 The prophets of Malachius and Isaiah spoke about the forerunner who would be before the Messiah and would call the people morally and spiritually prepare for his arrival (small. 3.1; Is. 40.3).

John the Baptist performed these prophecies. He was sent as "voice in the wilderness".

(Niv is written "Prophet Isaiah", but at first a quote from Malachi is presented. In the Synodal translation, the use of the word "prophets" is based on most manuscripts and is more accurate.)

1,4 His message was that people repent (change their thoughts and turned away from their sins) and found forgiveness of sins.Otherwise, they will not be able to accept the Lord. Only holy people can adequately adopt the Holy Son of God.

1,5 Listening to John the Baptist rushed, and he baptized them. It was an external expression of their appeal. Baptism publicly separated them from the majority of the people of Israel, who turned away from the Lord. It united them with the residue of the people who was ready to take Christ. From verse 5 it may seem that the answer to the preaching of John was universal. But it is not. At first, a surge of delight could be a lot of people rushed into the desert to hear a fiery preacher, but most people did not commit a true repentance and did not turn away from their sins. It will be seen as the story develops.

1,6 What kind of man was John?Today it would be called fanatic and ascetic. His house was a desert. He, like Elijah, wore the most rude and simple clothes. His food was sufficient to maintain life and forces, but you won't call her sophisticated.

It was a person who all subdued one glorious task - to acquaint people with Christ. Perhaps he could be rich, but preferred poverty. Thus, he became exactly the herald, which corresponded to the one who had no where to browse his head. From this we can take a lesson that everyone who serve to the Lord should distinguish simplicity.

1,7 John announced the superiority of the Lord Jesus Christ. He said that Jesus is greater in power, personal superiority and ministry.

John did not consider himself worthy unleash the belt shoeSavior (duty imputed slave). The sermon, filled with the Holy Spirit, always extolits the Lord Jesus Christ and prompts his "I".

1,8 John Brest water. It was an external sign that does not produce change in a person's life. Jesus will be baptizethem Holy Spirit;this baptism will entail a large influx of spiritual strength (Acts 1.8). It will also attach believers to the church, the body of Christ (1 Cor. 12,13).

B. Forerunner baptizes servant (1.9-11)

1,9 At this time, the so-called thirty years of silence in Nazareth approached the end. Lord Jesus Christ was ready to start her public service. First of all, he passed 96 km from Nazarethto Jordannear Jericho. There he was baptized by John.In his case, of course, no repentance was required, because he had no sins for confession. For the Lord, baptism was a symbolic action illustrating his baptism in death on Calvary and his resurrection from the dead. So, at the very exit of his public ministry, a living foresalting of the cross and an empty grave was laid.

1,10-11 As soon as Jesus came out of water,John i saw the expanding heavens and the Spirit, like a dove that comes back on it.From the sky sounded voteGod father who certified Jesus as his son Son.

There was no such moment in the life of our Lord, whenever he was not filled with Holy Spirit. But now the Holy Spirit on him, anointing him for the ministry and endowing force. It was a special service of the Spirit, preparation for the upcoming three years.

The power of the Holy Spirit is necessary. A person can have an education, talents, well-own speech, but without this mysterious quality, which we call "anointing", his work will be lifeless and ineffective. Before us is a vital question: Did the Holy Spirit rule for serving the Lord?

V. servant Tempt Satan (1,12-13)

Jehovah servant for forty dayshe was tempted by Satan in desert. SpiritGod brought him to this meeting is not in order to see if he will sin, but to prove that he cannot sin. If Jesus could sin like a man on earth, then how do we confident that he can not sin it now, as a person in heaven?

Why Mark indicates that he wasthere with beasts? Were these animals that Satan encouraged to destroy the Lord? Or in the presence of your creator, did they become Croes?

We can only ask questions. At the end of forty days He served angels(cf. Matt. 4.11); During the temptation he did not eat anything (Lux.4.2).

Tests are inevitable in the life of the believer. The closer the person follows the Lord, the more they will be stronger. Satan does not spend gunpowder on nominal Christians, but against those who restore the territory in the spiritual battle, he discourages its large-caliber guns. Be tempted - not sin. Sin lurks in concession to temptation. We cannot oppose him, relying on their own strength. But inhabitants in the believer of the Holy Spirit is its strength to suppress dark passions.

II. Early serving servants in Galilee (1.14 - 3,12)

A. The servant proceeds to his ministry (1.14-15)

Mark misses the ministry of the Lord in Judea (see in. 1.1 - 4.54) and begins with great ministry in Galilee, which covers the period in 1 year and 9 months (1.14 - 9.50). Then, before proceeding to the last week in Jerusalem, it briefly concerns the last stage of ministry in the pen (10.1 - 10.45).

Jesus came to Galileo, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God.Specifically, his preaching was as follows:

1. It turns time.In accordance with the term predicted prophets, the date of the appearance among the people of the king was established. Now this time has come.

2. The kingdom of God approached;the king appeared and with the most honest intentions offered the kingdom of the Israeli people. The kingdom approachedin the sense that the king appeared.

3. He called the people repent and assume in the gospel. In order to be elected for the kingdom, people must turn away from sin and believe in the good news of the Lord Jesus Christ.

B. Vocation of four fishermen (1,16-20)

1,16-18 Passing near the sea of Galilean,Jesus saw Simon and Andrey, who caught fish. He met them before; In fact, they became His disciples at the dawn of his ministry (in. 1.40-41). Now he called them to be with him, promising to do lovers of people. They immediately left their profitable fishing fish and followed him. Their obedience was instant, sacrificial and complete.

Fishing is art, catching people is also art:

1. Before patience. Often you need to expect long hours alone.

2. You must be able to use crochet, bait or networks.

3. An insight and common sense are needed to go where the fish rushes.

4. perseverance is necessary. A good fisherman will soon despair.

5. It is necessary calm. The best strategy is to avoid interference and be in the distance.

We become catcherswhen follow Christ. The more we like him, the more successful we will be in the acquisition of others for him. Our duty - to followbehind him; He will take care of everything else.

1,19-20 Passing out of there a littleLord Jesus met Jacob and John, sons Zezeda, which chinilitheir network.Once only called themthey spread S. fatherand followed byLord.

Christ and now calls people to leave everything and follow him (Lux 14.33). Neither the property, nor parents should be allowed to serve obedience.

B. Exile of an unclean spirit (1,21-28)

Poems 21-34 describe a typical day in the life of the Lord. The miracle followed the miracle when the Great Doctor healed obsessed demons and patients.

Perfect by the Savior, the wonders of healing show how he frees people from the terrible consequences of sin. This clearly demonstrates the table below.

Although today the preacher is not intended to commit such physical healing, he is designed to constantly deal with similar spiritual problems. Isn't the wonders about which the Lord Jesus Christ refers to John (14,12): "... believing in me, the cases that I do, and he will create, and will create more"?

1,21-22 However, let's go back to the narrative brand. IN CapernaumJesus entered Saturday in synagogueand began to learn. People understood that it was not an ordinary teacher. His words were filled with no doubt of strength. He taught the Council not as scribes- monotonous voice and mechanical. His phrases were arrows from the Almighty. His lessons were captured, convinced, called. The scribes were imposed on a petty, second-rate religion. In the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ, there was nothing unreal. He had full right to proclaim his teaching, because he lived according to what he taught.
