Ведущий: Hello boys and girls! We"re glad to meet you at our funny show-game "The Field of Wonders"! The theme of our game is "Sightseeing of London"

As you know, London is the Capital of Great Britain, one of the biggest and most interesting cities in world.

Now listen to the rules of the game!

You should turn the circle and get points. If your sector is "plus", you can open any letter in the world you like. If your sector is "prize" you can either take the prize or continue the game.

You have to name the letters and try to guess the word.

The winner is the pupil who will guess the whole word.

Ведущий: Look at the board and listen to the task. This is the soldier, who guards the Tower in a medieval costume. What is it?

ШОУ-ИГРА «ПОЛЕ ЧУДЕС»

по ТЕМЕ «ИДИОМАТИЧЕСКИЕ ВЫРАЖЕНИЯ

В АНГЛИЙСКОМ ЯЗЫКЕ»

Данная шоу-игра предназначена для работы с учащимися старших классов и является дополнением к основной программе изучения английского языка. В занимательной форме учащиеся познакомятся с фразеологическими оборотами в английском языке и на этой основе у них будет совершенствоваться произношение, лексика. Обучаемым предлагается найти эквиваленты английским фразеологизмам в русском языке, сопоставить значения. Примеры фразеологизмов и забавные иллюстрированные подсказки к ним взяты из книги М.И. Дубровина «Русские фразеологизмы в картинках» (М.: Русский язык, 1987. Художник В.И. Тильман). В процессе игры слова и обороты усваиваются намного легче.

В ходе игры для повышения интереса предусмотрены поощрительные призы, а номера художественной самодеятельности, с которыми выступают сами учащиеся во время музыкальных пауз (после каждого тура), превращают мероприятие в настоящий праздник.

Цели: - Поддержание интереса к изучению иностранного языка.

Тренировка лексических навыков.

Развитие догадки и логического мышления.

МЕТОД ПРОЕКТОВ

на уроках английского

Изучение иностранного языка - это кропотливый труд и длительный процесс, который проходит не всегда успешно, если у учащегося нет внутренней потребности в его освоении. Именно метод проектов помогает учителю заинтересовать учащихся и превратить сухую зубрежку в увлекательное познание и использование всех навыков и умений, полученных на разных предметах в стенах школы.

Контрольные срезы по всем видам речевой деятельности учащихся, систематически принимающих участие в индивидуальных проектах по английскому языку, показывают улучшение качества перевода текстов с содержанием, соответствующим темам проектов, улучшение письменной речи и навыков компьютерной обработки информации, расширение кругозора, развитие умения вести дискуссию на иностранном языке.

Для того чтобы реализовать метод проектов на уроках английского языка, необходимо использовать все современные технологии, повышающие эффективность обучения и максимальную заинтересованность учащихся, т.е. их мотивацию.

Проектную работу с учащимися Х класса по курсу страноведения «Великобритания» мы разбили на несколько этапов:

Теоретическая часть.

Девятидневный тур в страну изучаемого языка.

Проектная работа, включающая в себя

Ключевые слова: метод проектов, компьютерная презентация, задания-тесты, языковая практика.
